Оборудование: презентация Power Point, компьютер, проектор, рабочие листы с заданиями, буклет.

Урок с использованием ИКТ, вводный урок по теме «Интернет - безопасность».

Цель урока: развитие иноязычной  коммуникативной компетенции учащихся.

Задачи:

Развивающий аспект:

• развивать языковую догадку, память, внимание;
• повышать мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка;
• развивать умение выборочно понимать на слух необходимую информацию;
• развивать умение выбирать нужную информацию из прочитанного текста;
• развитие умения работать в группе.

Воспитательный аспект:

• воспитывать культуру общения в разных видах речевой деятельности;
• воспитывать уважение к культурным традициям страны изучаемого языка;

Учебный аспект:

• введение лексики по теме «Интернет - безопасность»;
• развитие навыка аудирования;
• тренировка лексических и фонетических навыков.

Используемые технологии:

• Игровая.
• Коллективный способ обучения.
• ИКТ.

Ход урока

1. Оргмомент.

           Good morning, friends! I’ m glad to see you. How are you? Are you fine today?

           That’s nice. If you are ready, let’s start our lesson. Who is on duty today? Who is absent   today?

2. Постановка целей и задач урока.

Today we are going to speak about internet safety. At the lesson we will work at different exercises such as: revise the vocabularies, answer questions, read the text, watch  the video, play Guessing Game, I hope we will be active. I wish you good luck. Let’s begin our work.

Look at the posters. How do you think what is the topic of our lesson?

Internet safety.  It’ a big problem nowadays. At the end of the lesson we try to make rules to staying safe online.

3. Фонетическая разминка/ речевая зарядка.

Vocabulary work

Let’s make a sinkwein to the word “Internet”.

• Первая строка — тема синквейна, заключает в себе одно слово (обычно существительное или местоимение ), которое обозначает объект или предмет, о котором пойдет речь.
• Вторая строка — два слова (чаще всего прилагательные или причастия ), они дают описание признаков и свойств выбранного в синквейне предмета или объекта.
• Третья строка — образована тремя глаголами или деепричастиями, описывающими характерные действия объекта.
• Четвертая строка — фраза из четырёх слов, выражающая личное отношение автора синквейна к описываемому предмету или объекту.
• Пятая строка — одно слово- резюме, характеризующее суть предмета или объекта.

Ex.1 Let’s name some positive and negative aspects of using the internet. Take a sheet of paper and write a list of pros and cons of using the internet.

Ex. 2. Read the dictionary entry and match the meaning of the words to their dictionaries about cybercrime.

• Using someone else’s credit card to buy things online – online credit card fraud.
• Downloading copyrighted materials without paying for it – illegal downloading of music/films,etc.
• Breaking into a computer system to get information – hacking
• Knowingly infected other people’s computers with virus  which can delete information, corrupt files or crash their computers – spreading computer viruses
• The act of falsely claiming to be someone else – identify theft
• A way of tricking Internet users to give personal information by pretending to be a trustworthy website/email etc - phishing

4. Listening for specific information. Ex. 3.

Read the types of cybercrime A-D, listen  and match the speakers and the crime.

5. Reading. Ex.4. Read the text and do ex.5,6.

6. Internet may be a very dangerous place. If you want to be safe online you should follow some rules.It’s time to watch a video. Watch the video and name the rules of  staying safe online.

What are internet safety rules?

• Never tell anyone on the Internet your real name.
• Never tell anyone on the Internet where you live and never ever tell anyone that you're home alone. 
• Never send the picture of yourself to anyone on the Internet.  
• Remember if you see or hear anything on the internet that makes you feel uncomfortable tell your family.

7. It’s high time to play guessing game.

2. While surfing the Internet, you see a website that makes you feel uncomfortable. What should you do?  

1. Write down the name and don’t go there again.
2. Tell your friends, so they can avoid it too.
3. Go tell a parent, guardian or teacher.
4. Unplug the computer.

3. If someone online tells you they are in 6th grade and their name is Katie, they are probably how old?

4. If you have been talking on the Internet to a person for a long time, and they want to meet, which is okay to do?  

1. Meet them, as long as you bring a friend.
2. Meet in a public place.
3. Tell someone where you will be before you go.
4. Ask your parent or guardian first and have them go with you.

5. If someone online sends you a message that is mean or makes you feel uncomfortable, you should:  

1. Erase them from your friends list.
2. Delete the message.
3. Insult them back
4. Tell a responsible adult

6. You are talking to someone online, and they know some of the same people you know. Since they have many of the same friends as you, is it ok to give them your phone number if they ask?

7. It is okay to send someone online your picture when:  

1. They send you theirs first
2. You send them an old picture
3. As long as you don’t send them your address too
4. Only if a parent or guardian is with you and says it is okay
