Nature is powerful enough to oppose any harmful human interference.

The contradictions between man and nature have acquired a dramatic character, and the controversial opinions around it, are being widely discussed nowadays. Some people believe that nature itself can resist the pollution caused by human. Others, however, are convinced that we should be more careful because modern technologies has become dangerous for the Earth.

In my opinion, nature cannot fight all the damage that people cause all alone. Firstly, we should keep in mind that progress will never stop and the situation will get worse  until we do some measures concerning protection of the environment. Moreover, there are thousands of industrial factories and plants around the world which poison land, water, air and are harmful to all creatures living nearby.  The most dangerous thing is that ozone depletion and greenhouse effect caused by human interference could make all living organisms extinct.

However, not everyone is supportive of this idea. Some people are convinced that we should not bother that much about nature because people are not powerful enough to cause any significant damage to the earth in general. They claim that only developed industrial areas are badly affected by human interference and nature is powerful enough to recuperate from harmful impact in course of time.

I disagree with this point of view because these people fail to understand that among the most urgent ecological problems are the ozone holes and global warming, which affect the balance of nature and lead to changes in the climate and ecosystem around the world. Nature cannot deal with these problems on its own without people’s support.

Taking everything into consideration, I still stick to my point of view that nature cannot resist forever and we should take actions against pollution to avoid environmental disaster.
