BRITISH MUSEUM
The British Museum, in London, is widely considered to be one of the world's greatest museums of human history and culture. Its permanent collection, numbering some eight million works, is amongst the finest, most comprehensive , and largest in existence and originate from all continents, illustrating and documenting the story of human culture from its beginnings to the present.
The British Library The British Museum Reading Room, situated in the centre of the Great Court of the British Museum, used to be the main reading room of the British Library.
Department of Greece and Rome ( Отдел Греции и Рима ) The British Museum has one of the world's largest and most comprehensive collections of antiquities from the: the Greek collection includes important sculpture from the Parthenon in Athens, as well as elements of two of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus and the Temple of Artemis.
Today the Museum preserves its universality in its collections of artefacts representing the cultures of the world, ancient and modern. The Museum today
MADAME TUSSAD’S MUSEUM
Marie Tussaud was a French artist known for her wax sculptures. She was born in France in the 18th century. She traveled with her collection throughout Great Britain and Ireland. She established her first permanent exhibition in Baker Street in 1835.
TRAFALGAR SQUARE
Trafalgar Square is the largest square in London, a public space and a tourist attraction in central London. It has been a central meeting place since the Middle Ages. A visit to the capital would be incomplete without visiting Trafalgar Square, the best starting point for any excursion about London.
Monument to Admiral Nelson on top the column Right in the centre of the Square there stands the Nelson Column 44 meters high.
The pedestal of the column is decorated with four bronze relief panels, depicting some moments of Nelson’s life. The north side of the plinth depicts the death of Horatio Nelson, by John Edward Carew.
Four identical bronze lions at the foot of the Nelson column symbolize the power of England on sea and shore.
The National Art Gallery is situated on Trafalgar Square. It is one of the best picture galleries in the world. It houses a wonderful collection of paintings of both British and Old Masters.
St. Martin-in-the-Fields is an Anglican church at the north-east corner of Trafalgar Square . Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields
The new lighting has been designed with the London 2012 Summer Olympics Games in mind. They project many different combinations of colours on to the fountains. There are two beautiful fountains in Trafalgar Square. They are in front of the National Gallery.
DICKEN’S HOUSE
In London, in a perfectly restored house on 48 Doughty street, in the Holborn area, there is a piece of Victorian England, a piece of its history, the life of old England. This is the House-Museum of the great English writer Charles Dickens, author of such famous works as "the adventures of Oliver Twist", "David Copperfield", "the Tale of two cities", and many others that brought him fame and recognition.
. Charles John Huffam Dickens was an English writer of the Victorian era. He was born on February 7, 1812 in Portsmouth in the family of a wealthy official. Soon Dickens ' family was devastated and forced to make ends meet. My father was thrown into debt prison for many years, my mother had to fight poverty.

MUSEUM OF TEA AND COFFEE
The Museum is divided into three thematic halls, and in the fourth there is a cozy cafe with a beautiful view of the Thames embankment. The first hall is a coffee room, the second is dedicated to tea, and the third contains all kinds of kettles, teapots, sets, storage boxes and even Russian samovars. There is also a small shop in the Museum where you can buy hundreds of varieties of tea and various tea mixtures made according to secret recipes.
The largest teapot in the world, presented in the Museum exhibition, has a height of about a meter . There is also a collection of different machines for processing coffee beans .
