A fairy tale. What is it? - a story for children with magical events and imaginary creatures
She is young and beautiful. She is a nurse but she can fly and work wonders. Pamela Travers wrote this story
She is pretty. She’s got fair hair and beautiful lips. She is slim and wears a long blue dress. She is kind and not lazy. She can do everything about the house. She can dance well.
He doesn’t want to be an adult ( взрослый ). He can fly and lives on the island Neverland.
He is very funny. He has a girl-friend. He is a symbol of the Walt Disney Company.
He is an ogre. He is very big and strong. His skin is green.
It’s a kind and cool doctor. He travels a lot and helps animals in different countries.

Read without any mistakes Cinderella lives with her step-mother and two bad and ugly step-sisters. She has to work all day while her sisters do nothing but play and try on new dresses and shoes. There is a ball at the prince's palace tonight and Cinderella's sisters are ready to go to it. Cinderella is very sad. She is not allowed to go to the ball. This is the story of a little girl. Her name is Goldilocks. She’s got golden hair. Everyone loves her. Every day she goes to the village. "Hello, Goldilocks! How are you?" everyone asks. Goldilocks smiles and says, "I’m fine. How are you ?"

Урок-игра по мотивам английских сказок в рамках недели английского языка.
Цель:
- формирование общекультурной компетенции через восприятие художественной литературы.
- формирование лингвострановедческой компетенции учащихся путем ознакомления с английской литературой.
Задачи:
- развивать умение анализировать информацию, формулировать собственную точку зрения;
- способствовать формированию наблюдательности в окружающем мире;
- организовать эмоционально-эстетическое восприятие;
- развивать интерес обучающихся к зарубежной литературе и культуре страны изучаемого языка;
- воспитывать любовь ко всему живому, потребность в нравственно-эстетическом отношении к окружающему миру, интерес и уважение к писателю как создателю художественного произведения.
Оснащение:
- компьютер, экран, карточки с текстами, книги со сказками на английском языке
Good morning, how are you today? Look, I have some books. Do you know their names in Russian? What’ll we speak about today?
We can’t live without fairy tales. Our mothers read them in the evening, we try to be like their characters. Do you like fairy tales? Do you often read them?
- Today we’ll speak about them.
What is a fairy tale? What words can we refer to it? (for children, magic, animals, kings, queens, castle, kind, ugly, pretty etc.)

- At first we speak about fairy tales character. You have to guess who they are. I show you a description and answer the question.
