Good morning, my dear friends! I’m glad to see you. Today we have guests. Say “Hello” They want to know about you. Finish the sentences:

Now you are going to listen to a song. Take cards 2. Listen and fill in missing words. (slide 3) - what words are missed? (write their versions on the board). Watch the video and check your answers. (slide 4) Take cards 1 and evaluate yourself.

Look at the words – What are they? (parts of a story) -How do you think what we are going to do today? (to make a story) – Are you ready? (Yes)
In the middle of your table there is a book. Open it. What do you see? (a picture of the boy, the text) Tell me, please, what part of the story is it? (the beginning). What do we learn from the beginning? (about character and setting). Have you got such information? (No) The task for you is to choose the right variant of the character and setting. Put the information into your book. (slide 5)
What should we write next? (the middle part, the end). Each of you has a card 3. Take it. As you can see they are another parts of your story, but some words are written in brackets. What kind of speech are they? (verbs) Why are they in brackets? (we should put them into the Past tense) – How? (to add the ending –ed, or use the second form of the verbs) You are right. I’d like to know how well you know the second form of the verbs. Let’s do a 5-minute test. Take QR code. Name the past form of the verb. (plickers - internet) Add your score to the evaluation card.

So, I’m sure you will do the next task very well. If you don’t remember the word, you can consult the dictionary. You have 1 minute to put the verbs into the Past correctly.
Read your part carefully and retell to your classmates. Discuss in your group the order of the pictures. Glue them in the right order into your book.
Give your story to the another group clockwise. I give you card 4 to check and evaluate the story. Read the instruction carefully. Return the stories with the card 4.

At the beginning of our lesson we’ve said that there are three parts in any story: the beginning, the middle and the end. Are there these parts in our story? Let’s fill in the story map. The 1st group proves that there is a beginning. The second group - the middle part. The third group – the end. Write down your answers on colourful sheets (из каждой команды выходит один представитель и высказывает мнение команды).
