In our town I like going to the theatre. Guys, do you know any theatres in Blagoveshchensk? This is a theatre? All together “theatre”. This is The Amur Regional Drama Theatre

    What’s this? It is a museum. All together “museum”.  How many museums are in Blagoveshchensk? Who knows? (3 museums) Look! This is our local museum. What can we see in the museum? Can we see photos, books, medals, scarecrows [ˈskɛːkrəʊs]? Yes, we can.

     What’ this? Is this a monument? All together “monument”.  There are many monuments in Blagoveshchensk, for example, The monument to Peter and Fevronia, The Lenin monument. Where is it situated? It is situated in Lenin square. The monument to the dog named Druzhok. Have you ever seen it? Do you like it?

     It is not a library. Is it a cathedral? All together “cathedral”. How many cathedrals are in Blagoveshchensk? (one cathedral)The Cathedral of the Annunciation [ənʌnsɪˈeɪʃ(ə)n].

     So, there three museums, 1 cathedral, some theatres and many different monuments in our town. Many tourists from Europe and Asia visit our native town. What is our topic about?  That’s right!

I like my town because I was born in it/because there are my mother and father, friends.

Ребята, мишка будет вам давать указания, а вы будете выполнять. Stand up! We are sleeping now.

Ребята, когда мы комментировали наши действия, какую мы использовали форму? (доска – правила написать). Делают ошибку – Look at the blackboard!!!

В русском языке лишь одна временная форма, когда мы хотим описать действие, которое происходит в данный момент и каждый день. Если я скажу, он играет в волейбол, будет непонятно, он играет сейчас или каждый день, то есть нам нужно добавлять слова. А в английском языке достаточно подобрать форму глагола to be и к основному глаголу добавить –ing окончание.

Совершенствование грамматических навыков.

We use the Present Simple for actions that happen usually, always and every day.

For example, I go to school every day. She gets up at seven o’clock every morning

We use the Present Continuous for actions that started but not finished.  

For ex. Listen! He is playing the guitar at that moment.

He is singing a song now.

Look at the slide. What is the tiger doing now/What does he do every day?

Итак, ребята, сейчас мы вспомнили две временные формы: The Present Simple tense/ The Present Continuous tense. The Present Continuous tense используется для обозначения действий, которые происходят в данный момент речи, The Present Simple tense обозначают действия, которые происходят каждый день. Глаголы могут употребляться либо в одной форме, либо в другой в зависимости от ситуации.

Some words such as “love, like, want, see, have, hate, need” are not used in the Present Continuous tense.

For example, People love freedom. All together “love”.

I like these lovely dogs. All together “like”.

She wants to be good student. Do you want to be a good student? All together “want”.

I see a river through the window. Do you see a river through the window? All together “see”.

I have a house in our town. Do you have a house? All together “have”.

I hate spiders. Do you hate spiders? All together “hate”.

I need some my help. Look, he needs some food. Do you need some food? All together “need”.

Do you love your mother? Do you like dogs?

Translate!!!! Как скажем, что мне нужно? Вы хотите кушать? Он хочет пить?

Итак, мы сейчас повторили глаголы, которые употребляются в  форме The Present Simple tense, они обозначают действия, которые происходят каждый день. И глаголы, которые употребляются в форме The Present Continuous tense, обозначающие действия, происходящие в данный момент. Найдете их на слайде!

На слайде остались глаголы, которые употребляются только в форме the Present Simple tense.

Read after me these words: “love, like, want, see, have, hate, need” (вредные глаголы). Итак, что мы узнали про эти глаголы?

Now let’s work with our text book! Open your text books at the page 92, ex.21. Dasha, read the task. Задание понятно? Make up sentences describing the pictures. Почему такая временная форма?

Look at the ex. 22. I’ll read the text, you should open brackets. Put the verbs in the Present Simple or the Present Continuous tense. (Ребята, вам нужно поставить правильную форму глагола). Кто прав? Почему?

Что вы узнали? С какими вредными глаголами сегодня познакомились? Какие глаголы не могут дружить вместе с the Present Continuous tense.
