Good morning! Today I will show you a small part of the lesson.

How I teach the children to write letters. It’s for seventh grader.

It’ll be an invitation letter.

1 First of all, I want you see a short video!

What do you see here? ( Who knows?) What type of the party is it?

It’s a swap party.

It’s type of party, when people change their personal things. Like clothes, books, accessories, toys and so on…

Have you ever taken part  in Swap party?  Would you like to take part in such party?

Two days ago, I received a swap party invitation from my colleague.

Let’s read it!    I’ll show you the letter in a larger version. Also you can find this letter on your desks! ( можно спросить: All found? )

2. Look please at the next slide.( Показываю слайд с пригласительной карточкой )  You see here an example, what the card looks like and how you can fill it.

You can come up ( create ) only with a date! Time, place, type and activities you will find in the letter…

Based on her letter, fill in your invitation card! A letter and an invitation card you will find on your desk. I give you one minute!

2   And now, let’s try to write our own letter. Look please at the next slide.

His name is Tom. He really wants to swap his old laptop for Iphone.

And he invites us to gadgets swap party.

So, let’s help him organize his party and write the invitation letter.

You can find “an empty letter” on your desks. This will be a letter from Tom for his friend.

Also, on your desks you can see notes, with keywords and word-combinations. They will help you to write the letter.

You must write at least one hundred words. ( 100 words ).

Also in the letter you can include three questions for the friend.

You can write your own name or any other…. For example ( Dear Ann )

I give you five minutes.
