Урок английского языка в 5 классе

Тема урока  «Pets»  Питомцы.

Цель: Совершенствовать коммуникативную компетенцию учащихся.

Задачи:

Образовательная: повторение изученных ЛЕ и введение новых слов – названий домашних животных

Развивающая:  Развивать навыки аудирования и монологической речи. 

Воспитательная: --воспитывать любовь к животным, экологическую культуру в целом; прививать любовь и интерес к иностранному языку;

Ход урока.

1.    Организационный момент и приветствие

Good morning, boys and girls! Glad to see you! Sit down, please! I hope you are ready to work hard at our lesson. Let’s begin our lesson. My name is Lyaisan Kurbangalievna and What is your name? I`m 35 and How old are you?  I`m from Mayak and where are you from?

Now I suggest you to watch a video  “Pets” and tell me the theme of our lesson.

What’s the theme of our lesson? Of course, as you guess today we will talk about animals. We’ll also make the reports. I believe the lesson will be interesting for you and we’ll enjoy it.

2.    Фонетическая зарядка

At first, we must repeat some sounds to speak about animals. [     ]- cat, Hat, bad, mad

-Where are you going to, my little cat?
-I'm going to town, to buy a hat.
-What? A hat for a cat? A cat in a hat?
-Who ever saw a cat in a hat?

3.    Речевая зарядка

Now let’s repeat the names of animals. What animals do you know?  and play the game “Snowball”. (cat, dog, snake, frog, cow, horse, monkey, mouse, fox, bear, zebra, crocodile)

You know a lot of animals, I see.

How do we call the animals which live with people in their houses? (Pets). Today we have a new topic “ Our pets” Pets play a very important role in our life. Many people like to keep them. There are usual pets to keep at home

Tell me please, who has pets at home? I see almost everybody. Does anybody know how we can call them in English? Ok, listen and repeat after the speaker then. 

 Kitten, puppy, budgie, rabbit, goldfish, hamster, guinea pig, parrot, rat, canary.

Open your books, page 7, exercise 6. Look at the pictures of those pets and read their names one by one.

Perfect.. And now answer my questions. What is it?
What colour is the parrot in the picture?

What does your cat eat?
now, make your own sentences  use this words.

Совершенствование навыков аудирования

Now take yellow papers, please. Here we `ve got a task Listening. Let`s read the task. You have to match the peoples to their pets.(Учащиеся слушают и выполняют задания на листочках).

Now, let`s check up and make sentences.

Vicky has a dog.

Nathan has got a goldfish.

George has a tortoise.

Maggie has got a cat.

Susan has got a rabbit.

I think you are ready to talk about your pets. I`ll give you papers for your projects. Look at the screen, please. This questions will help you. Then? One of you will speak/

• What pets have you got?
• What is it`s name?
• How old is it?
• What colour is it?
• What does you pet like to eat?
• What it can do?
• Do you like it?

 Подведение итогов урока

You are wonderful children. It’s very good that you know so much about animals, that you have got pets at home and take care of them. Don`t forget that animals and birds are our friends! And we must take care of them!  I give you excellent marks for all of you.

Now at the end of the lesson you can listen and understand information about pets.  You can talk about pets
