Тема урока: «Свободное время» ”Free Time”

Цель урока: Развитие коммуникативной компетенции на основе изученных

лексических единиц, новых лексических единиц и речевых и грамматических

структур по данной теме урока.

Тип урока: Комбинированный

Проблемы, решаемые обучающимися: Как люди проводят свободное

время?

Планируемые результаты:

Предметные: выучить новые лексические единицы

регулятивные УУД: выбирать действие в соответствии с поставленной

задачей, адекватно воспринимать коррективы учителя

познавательные УУД: познакомиться с популярными способами

проведения досуга в англоговорящих странах

коммуникативные УУД: проявить активность во взаимодействии для

решения коммуникативных и познавательных задач, ставить вопросы,

строить понятные высказывания, слушать собеседника

личностные результаты: уважительное отношение к иному мнению,

культуре других народов.

Используемые технологии: игровая, технология исследования, проектная,

технология личностно-ориентированного обучения, ИКТ.

Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор, экран, презентация (PowerPoint)

учебник “Spotlight 6”, карточки с новой лексикой, картинки по теме. ”Free Time”,

 Ход урока.

1 Организационный момент.

Good morning, boys and girls! Who knows what we are going to speak aboutе  at

the lesson?  I’d like you to look attentively at the screen. I think you can guess what we are speaking about today.

But first of all let’s warm up.Let’s pronounce the words you will need this lesson (PowerPoint),слайд 2).

Repeat  after me:

[a:] – gardening, dancing, basketball, pastime

[˄] – club, rugby, hunting, jumping, running

[ↄ:] – horse riding, sport, drawing, walk

[ↄ ] –  jogging, fond, hobby, popular, wat),ching

[i:] – reading, sleeping, keeping, free, keen

[i] – activity, fishing, interested, windsurfing, swimming

[ai] – time, like, bike, cycling, diving

[ei] – playing, games, crazy, favorite, famous, paint

T: Well done!

T: They say tastes differ. Different people have different habits. Open your

textbooks on p. 56 & find ex. 1 Look at the pictures, listen to me & repeat after

me. Do you know the meaning of all these phrases? Very well.

Say, which of these you do or don’t do every day, every week, every weekend, on

holiday. Look at the example (PowerPoint),слайд 3)).

e. g.: I meet my friends every week. I don’t go windsurfing when I’m on holiday.

T: Let’s see what the most popular pastime activities are. Look at the screen (PowerPoint),slide

4), match the words and make up word combinations. Then write the answers in

these cards (PowerPoint),см. приложение 1).

T: Are you tired? Let’s make a pause & do some physical exercises. Just imagine

that you are swimming, playing volleyball, working in the garden, painting,

dancing, cycling

Arrange your chairs into two circles(inner and outer)facing each other. The student in the outer circle will move around and the student in the inner circle stay where they are . After asking questions the students  in the outside wheel have to move one chair clockwise.

Now you will get worksheets and carry out a survey about your classmate’s favourite pastime activities
