The Seasons

Spring is green,
Summer is bright,
Autumn is yellow,
Winter is white.

The sun is shining

The sun is shining,
The flowers are blooming;
The sky is blue,
The rains are few,
The snow is falling,
The wind is blowing,
The ground is white,
All day and all night.

The seasons

«In winter we ski and skate,» —
Says little Kate.
«In summer I like to swim,» —
Says little Jim.
And what do we do in spring?
In spring we play and sing.

Rain, rain…

Rain, rain,
Go away,
Come again,
Another day:
Mary and I
Like to play.

Come on Mother’s
Washing-day:
Mary and I
Want to play.

Fall

Put on your jeans for fall,
Now it’s cold to play football
Leaves turn orange, red and
brown,
And they all are falling down.
Winter, Spring, Summer, fall —
I lie winter best of all.

I will be a lion,

And you will be a bear,

I will run after you,

And you will hide under the chair.

Mother

That is your mother,
I agree she is fine.
You love your mother
And I love mine.

My Mother

Who said «Good night»
When I was a child?
My Mother.
Who dressed my dolls in clothers so gay
And showed me often how to play?

Who ran to help me when I fell?
My Mother.
Who sits at my head when I am in bed?

The spring

Spring, spring is coming soon,
Grass is green and flowers bloom,
Birds returning from the south,
Bees are buzzing all about,
Leaves are buddign everywhere,
Spring, spring is finally here!

The sunshine

The sunshine gleams so bright and warm,
The sky is blue and clear.
I run outdoors without a coat,
And spring is almost here.

Then before I know it,
Small clouds have blown together,
Till the sun just can’t get through them,
And again, it’s mitten weather.

Donkey

Donkey, donkey,
Old and grey.
Open your mouth
And gently bray.
Lift your ears
And blow your horn.
To wake the world
This sleepy morning.

Mouse

I have seen you, little mouse,
Running all about the house,
Through the hole your little eye
In the wainscot peeping sly,
Hoping soon some crumbs to steal,
To make quite a hearty meal.
Look before you venture out,
See if pussy is about.
If she’s gone, you’ll quickly run
To the larder for some fun;
Round about the dishes creep,
Taking into each a peep,
To choose the daintiest that’s there,
Spoiling things you do not care.

Grasshopper

Little Grasshopper lives in the fields.
He is a nice funny fellow.
His coat is green, his hat is blue,
His trousers are brown and yellow.

Butterfly

Butterfly, butterfly,
Where do you fly,
So quick and so high
In the blue, blue sky?

Baa baa black sheep

Baa, baa, black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
Three bags full;
One for the master,
And one for the dame,
And one for the little boy
Who lives down the lane.

Where's my little hare?

Look! Under the chair.

Where's my little fox?

Look! In the box.

The bear is white.

The bird is blue.

The dog is black.

The puppy is, too.

The trip

Let's go on a trip!

One, eat your bun!

Two, look at the kangaroo!

Three, look at the bee!

Four, open the door!

Five, take the knife!

Six, take the sticks!

Seven, count to eleven!

Eight, stop and wait!

Nine, you are fine! 

Ten, say it all again!

Eleven and twelve, we are very well!
