I. Task one (Reading):

Прочитайте текст и выполните задание

 The parts of the following text are all mixed up. Put them in the right order.

1. Once the king showed a new portion of his stories to a well-known critic. The critic decided to tell the truth and said that the stories were bad and poor.
2. When the critic was brought to the palace the king asked him about the stories again. But the critic said he would rather get back to prison.
3. Of course people were afraid of criticizing the king so they had to lie. Everyone said the stories were extremely good, which was not at all true.
4. An old king liked to write stories which he thought were very good and professional. He showed them to everyone and asked what those people thought.
5. After some time the king thought he had been too cruel and decided to set the critic free. He sent his men to the prison and told them to bring the man to the palace.
6. The king got very angry with him and ordered his men to take him to prison. So the critic was sent for telling the truth.
