Цель урока: Закрепление лексико-грамматических навыков по теме «Город и село».
Задачи урока:
1) Совершенствовать умения и навыки практического владения английским языком в рамках данной темы по всем видам речевой деятельности: аудированию, устной речи, чтению и письма.
2) Отработать лексический материал по теме «Животные», «Ферма», «Места обитания животных».
3) Отработать степени сравнения прилагательных.

Ход урока:
1. Организационный момент
Dear boys and girls. I am your teacher today. I want to invite you to visit a Fairy-tale Land. We shall meet many animals, visit their homes. We shall visit Old McDonald’s Farm and see what animals he has. We shall read a letter from Matroskin and try to make your own riddles about animals.
2. Фонетическая зарядка.
So, we start. Our first station is Sounds and Voices.

English meals
Цель урока: Обобщение знаний учащихся по теме: « Еда и напитки»; тренировка лексики по данной теме, тренировка в чтении транскрипции новых слов, развитие монологической и диалогической речи; тренировка речевого образца (What do they have for breakfast?);практика в восприятии и понимании речи на слух, развитие способности обобщать, делать выводы, работать в группе; воспитывать у учащихся познавательный интерес к другой стране, расширять кругозор.
Оборудование: картинки с английской едой, карточки со словами и транскрипцией, плакат с кроссвордом ,костюмы,вырезанные из бумаги.
Ход урока
1.Начало урока. Организационный момент.
Teacher: Good day, dear children!
Pupils: Hello, teacher!
Teacher: I’m glad to see you! How are you?
Pupils: We are fine. Thank you.
Teacher: OK, sit down, please, and let’s start our lesson. Children, look at the blackboard, please. There are many beautiful pictures here, they look so attractive and appetizing. That’s why I think you can guess that the theme of our lesson is…
Pupils: Meals, food, what we eat.
Teacher: Yes, you are right. The theme is “ English meals”. Many years ago our ancestors said “ Live not to eat, but eat to live”. We can’t live without food. Children, today we’ll practice in reading,we’ll listen to a new text and your stories, we’ll learn many interesting things about English food.

Teacher’s questions: Children, do you like to eat? What food do you like to eat? What drinks do you prefer? And now I want to check something. How do you know the words on this theme. Look at the blackboard. There are food products here. You must divide these words into 5 categories: vegetables, fruit ,drinks, fast food, sweet.
Words: an apple,coffee, carrots, milk, a harmburger, ice-cream, graps, orange juice, chips, an onion, pizza, bananas, cake, broccoli,tea, chocolate,pepper.

4.Развитие навыков чтения.
Teacher: We’ll read the text “English meals”
The usual English breakfast is rather substantial. English people eat toasts,marmalade, scrambled eggs, bacon and cornflakes in the morning.They eat cornflakes with milk. They usually eat fish and chips, meat with potatoes, hamburgers for lunch.Englishmen have their dinner in the evening. The most important time for Englishmen is tea-time (at 5 o’clock).They like to drink cream-tea with scones and jam.
Teacher: Answer to my questions, please!
1) What do the English eat for breakfast? 2) Do they eat cornflakes with mustard and garlic? 3)What do they eat for lunch? 4)When do they have their tea-time?
Teacher: Correct mistakes.
1) The usual English breakfast is turkey. 2) They drink juice for breakfast. 3)Englishmen have dinner in the morning. 4) They eat cornflakes with pepper and salt.
5.Физминутка.
Teacher: And so, children, it’s time to rest. Stand up, please! Look at the window! The weather is fine, the sun is shining, the birds are singing .Imagine, that you are birds too. Hands up! Shake your hands and fly and fly as birds and sing the song!

5. Тренировка навыков монологической речи.
Teacher: Children, today the English food has come to us and wants to tell about itself. Welcome fish and chips.
Pupil 1: Hello, my friends, 150 years ago in England poor people had to go to work in factories. There was no time to cook. So they bought fast food in the street. The most popular was fried fish with piece of bread. Then in 1870 some thing came from France. The English called them chips. Chips are very thin and fried potatoes. Today fish and chips the most popular and cheap food in Britain.
Pupil 2: I came from 1900 years. One day sport cartoonist Tad Dorgan draw dachshund with a sausage. Dorgan didn’t know how to translate “dachshund” from German to English. So, he wrote “hot dog”. This name became popular. And hot dog is the favourite fast food now.
Pupil 3: We are cornflakes. British like us for breakfast. They like us with milk and jam. School children have packed lunches in boxes with cornflakes and they like to eat us in the cinema, when they are watching the film.
Pupil 4: I’m very important and traditional food. People eat me on their great holiday Christmas. I was made from fat turkey and people put me in the centre of the holiday table. Pudding is the most delicious food in England.
Teacher: Thank you very much, the English food. And now after food we need to drink. Children, what would you like to drink, tea or coffee? Most of all ,tea. But do you know the difference between Russian tea and English tea? The English prefer to drink tea with cold milk. Who will help us to drink tea? Of course, this is a tea-port. Welcome, please, a tea-port! He’ll read a humor small poem.
Pupil 5: I’m a little tea-port
Short and stout

When I hear the tea-cups

“Tip me over, pour me out!’
6. Тренировка навыков аудирования.
Teacher: Children, The English like to drink tea with chocolate too. Do you know the origin of chocolate? Let’s know about it. This article from a newspaper may help us. It’s name is “Where does chocolate come from?”
Text: Chocolate grows on trees, but is not looking like the candy bars you like to eat. Chocolate really comes from cacao beans. The beans are the seeds of chocolate fruit. They grow on cacao trees in lands where the weather is very hot. The beans are dried and shipped at chocolate factories. There they are roasted and ground up into cacao butter. In a big mixer the cacao butter is blended with sugar and milk to make milk chocolate. Then the chocolate is put in shops where we can buy it.
Teacher’s questions:
1) Where does chocolate come from?
2) Where do cacao trees grow?
3) How is chocolate made at the factory?
7. Ролевая игра.
Teacher: Pupils, you are lucky today. We have a guest in our class. Let’s meet the director of chocolate factory.
Children, you can ask him questions. Please, introduce yourself!
Pupil 6: Hello, my name is Mr. Brown.
Pupils’ questions:
1) Is your factory big or small? 2) How much chocolate do you make? 3)Do you add nuts, jam into chocolate?
4) Do you make chocolate toys? 5) Are you a rich man?
Teacher: And Mr. Brown wants to represent the advert of his chocolate.

Pupil 6: Our chocolate is made from the cacao beans and milk of high quality. It’ s name is “ Milkyway”.
It has unforgettable taste. Try our chocolate and you want it to eat again! Our chocolate is the best and cheapest from all! Buy it and you’ll be lucky!
Teacher: Tnank you, Mr Brown. We ‘ll buy your chocolate.
8. Заключительная часть.
Teacher: Children, and at the finish of our lesson ,I ‘d like to say. We like to eat many tasty things, but we mustn’t forget, that you shouldn’t eat too much. Otherwise we ‘ll become like Robin-Bobin. Who is the Robin-Bobin? Listen a humor poem about him.
Pupil 7: Robin the Bobin the big-bellied Ben
He ate more meat than fourscore men
He ate a cow, he ate a calf

Лингвистический марафон «Welcome to Britain»
Цель мероприятия: обобщение материала по теме: «Великобритания»; совершенствование навыков устной речи; тренировка внимания и мышления; актуализация страноведческого материала, развитие лексических навыков.
Оборудование: картинки по теме: «Великобритания»; плакаты и карточки с заданиями; презентация со слайдами достопримечательностей Лондона; призы для команды- победительницы.
Ход мероприятия
1.Организационный момент
Teacher: Hello, my dear children and our guests! I’m glad to meet you in our linguistic club ‘Welcome to Britain’.Children, do you know English well? Yes, you do. And I want to know, who is the best of us in English.Today we have two teams in our classroom. The first team is called …and their captain is…,the second team is called…and their captain is… And now listen to the rules of our maraphon. It consists of 7 contests. We give you points for each contest.If the members of the team don’t know the answer,our fans can help them and give points to their favourite team.In the end of the maraphon our jury will count points and whose points will be more,this team will become a winner. And let’s begin!
Contest 1. ‘Warming-up’.
Teacher: We are travelling to Britain and it’s history. I’ve 10 questions about it. One question costs 1 point.
1) What parts does the UK consist of? 2)Who is the head of state in G.B.? 3)What plant is the symbol of England? 4) What English cities are famous for their universities? 5) What river does London stand on? 6) Whose monument stand in the centre of Trafalgar square? 7) Why is the Westminster Palace Clock called ‘Big Ben’? 8) What’s the name of the most famous park in the London? 9)Where does Queen Elizabeth live?10)Where can you see ravens in London?
