1. Организационный этап и приветствие

Good morning, everyone! Sit down please.

Today we are going to talk about friends and money.

Ученики здороваются с учителем.

Перед уроком ученикам на парты раздаются тексты песни Queen “Friends Will Be Friends” с пропусками (Прил. 1).

Время на этап – 1 минута.

2. Речевая зарядка

Look at the blackboard, please. What do you think we are going to do now?

That’s right! Before we do it, tell me: what do you know about the band “Queen”?

Where is this band from? Who sang in the band? Do you know any of their songs?

“We are going to listen to the song!”

“This is a Brittish band.”

Freddy Mercury is the singer of this band.

The famous songs are “Show must go on”, “We are the champions”.

На доске записано название музыкальной группы и название песни.

Если ученики затрудняются ответить, учитель задает наводящие вопросы.

Время на этап – 3 минуты.

3. Аудирование

Let’s listen to the song “Friends Will Be Friends” now. Be attentive and fill in the gaps. We are going to listen to it twice.

Did you manage to catch all the words? Let’s check what you have. Read the lines one by one, please.

So, what is this song about? Why do we need friends? What do friends mean in our lives? Use these expressions in your speech.

4. Контроль усвоения грамматического материала

Now let’s see, what you remember about using different forms of the verb in different cases. I will give you some cards; do the task on your own, please.

Hand in the papers, please.

5. Предтекстовый этап. Актуализация знакомой лексики.

Now it's time to talk about money. Do you remember what’s special about this word? Money is always singular – всегда в единственном числе! Money = it! Money is…!

Let's remember, what we can do with money. Give me the verbs. Write them down into your notebooks, please.

Вместе с учениками на доске и в тетрадях составляем ассоциограмму (с глаголами) по теме money (Прил. 4).

6. Текстовый этап

Open your textbooks, please. Page 40. There are some money-choice situations. Let’s read them together. Is everything clear? Do you have any questions?

“What does the change mean?” or “What is the pay phone?”

Ученики читают тексты вслух.

Время на этап – 5 минут.

7. Послетекстовый этап

Look at the box at ex. 1. These are the phrases to express your personal opinion. Do you know these phrases? Is everything clear?

Work in pairs, please. Each pair gets one situation. Discuss the situation and answer the question: “What would you do if such a thing happened to you and why?” Use the phrases from the box. You have 4 minutes for the discussion.

We are going to listen to every dialog now. Please, listen to your classmates and ask them questions about their choice.

8. Завершающий этап. Домашнее задание.

Today we discussed why we need friends. Who would like to make a conclusion?

We also were talking about how responsible we are with our money. Masha, summarize the ideas, please.
