            Внеклассное мероприятие « Рождество в англоязычных странах».

1 ведущий:

-Good afternoon, our dear guests!

2 ведущий:

- We’re glad to see you in this magic hall! The candles are lit and the Christmas tree is glittering with lights. Today we have a special winter day. It’s a magic season, the season of  winter tales. Let’s feel the magic of this season with the song “ Winter tale”.

-There are a lot of poems about Christmas. Our children like them, too.

It’s Christmas! Merry Christmas!

Yes, it’s merry, merry Christmas,

It’s time for hanging stockings,

It’s time for riding sleighs!

Snow and holly ?overeating,

Oh ,I love you merry Christmas,

You’re the best of holidays!

-What a wonderful evening it is! I think , Christmas is the most favourite holiday of the year.

Trees, candles, angel wings,

Stars in the Heavens, snow covered hills,

Little toy trains, dolls in their frills.

-Do you remember the story of Jesus’ birth?

Just imagine: a stable, a manger, shepherds, heavenly light…

- Откуда пришла традиция праздновать Рождество? Согласно Библии Бог решил

праведно. В Назарете жила девушка по имени Мария, которая вела праведный образ жизни. К ней явился ангел и объявил ей , что она станет матерью сына божьего. Плотник по имени Иосиф женился на ней. Когда Марии пришло время родить , Иосиф отвез ее в Вифлием. Им негде было остановиться, и владелец постоялого двора разрешил им переночевать в хлеву для животных. Здесь и родился младенец, пара назвала его Иисусом. В ту ночь ангел явился перед пастухами ,пасущими стадо, и рассказал ,что в Вифлиеме родился сын Бога. Пастухи пришли в хлев и увидели младенца. Они пали на колени пред новорожденным и преподнесли ему в дар новорожденных ягнят. А в далекой земле три волхва увидели яркую звезду в ночном небе ,они последовали за ней и дошли до младенца Иисуса. В дар ему они преподнесли золото, ладан и смирну.

-Именно оттуда и пошла традиция дарить подарки на Рождество.

2 ведущий:

-The 25th of December is the greatest holiday in Great Britain. People have many Christmas traditions. Listen to our short stories about trees, presents and other tradition interesting

-People began celebrating Christmas many , many years  ago. They decorate the evergreen trees and give presents to each other. They place a big shining star at the top of the Christmas tree and there are a lot of bright shining balls on it.

2 ученик:

-Not only Christmas trees decorate the houses in Christmas time. Children like to make different ornaments and lights. Rooms are decorated with colorful papers and ribbons. Holy with berries is put everywhere.

3 ученик:

- Holly is an evergreen plant with sharp pointed leaves and red berries. Long ago people began put holly in their houses during dark cold winters. They like to look at holly and about the spring and the sun.

-Mistletoes is an evergreen plant with small leaves and small white berries. On Christmas Eve there is a branch of mistletoes in every house.

- It’s merry time: joy, games, songs and laughing. How do you think ,what children like doing in winter? Children like to ski, to skate and to play snowballs in winter. Of course, they like sleighing, too.

Santa and stockings

-Relatives and friends give presents to each other. They put gifts under the Christmas tree. Children hang beautiful  stockings on their beds and fireplaces. At night Santa Claus climbs down the chimney and puts presents into their stockings. Children are always happy to find their gifts in the morning.

-Обычай складывать подарки в чулок или носок тоже связан с викторианской Англией. Для  него существует такое объяснение: «Рождественский Дед» путешествовал по воздух и проникал в дома через дымовую трубу. Спускаясь в один из домов ,он обронил несколько золотых монет в носок , который повесили сушиться над очагом. С тех пор в рождественский Сочельник на камин стали вывешивать чулки в надежде, что туда что-нибудь упадет.

2 ведущий:

-Кстати, дети, перед тем , как идти спать, обязательно оставляют пирог с фаршем или печенюшки с молоком для Санты и морковку для Северного Оленя Рудольфа из упряжки Санты, иначе подарков не видать.

Конкурс « Рождественский чулок»

1ведущий:

-Do you like presents? I think, everybody likes them. Our children love presents , too. They’ve made a lot of socks themselves. But only one person who has the best stocking will get the prize. Let’s choose the winner.

Santa Claus

2 ведущий:

-Santa Claus wears a red suit and carries a big bag with a lot of toys for children. He has a white beard and many magic creatures help him. He travels on reindeer and visits children at night. They believe that he brings them presents and leave them under the Christmas tree or in the stockings.

-Кто такой Санта Клаус?

Санта Клаус-Святой Николас- Рождественский Дед. Это епископ города Мира в малоазийской провинции Ликия. О его жизни известно немного. Люди приписывают ему безмерную доброту и любовь к людям, он по поводу и без задаривал их подарками.

-It is supposed that Santa arrives in sleigh driven by 9 reindeer . Each reindeer has its own name.

Letters to Santa

-Another interesting tradition is Letters to Santa Clause. Children write them ask presents from Santa.

Christmas Cards

1 ведущий:

-If you’re ever in Britain around Christmas time , you’ll find pictures of robins on Christmas cards, ornaments, stamps, chocolate boxes, shop windows and Christmas wrapping paper. It’s all inspired by the robins used to deliver Christmas cards in Britain in the 19th century.

Boxing Day.

-Boxing Day comes after Christmas day. It’s on the 26th of December. Traditionally people put their Christmas presents for poor people into boxes in the churches. That is why the day when people give and receive presents is called Boxing Day.

Christmas pudding

1 ведущий:

-Another famous English Christmas tradition is Christmas pudding. It’s a type of pudding traditionally served on  Christmas Day as a part of Christmas dinner. It has its origins in medieval England, and is sometimes known as plum pudding or plum duff.

Christmas tea

2 ведущий:

-Christmas tea is a special type of tea. People have it at about 6 o’clock.
