Сценарий внеклассного мероприятия  по теме «Рождество в Великобритании» для учащихся 5-9 классов учителя английского языка МБОУ Ржавская СОШ Нечаевой Л.В.

Цели:  Повышение эффективности учебно-воспитательного процесса; повышение культурного и образовательного уровня обучающихся; углубление  знаний обучающихся по истории, культуре  и традициям страны изучаемого языка. Формирование и развитие социокультурной  и коммуникативной компетенции обучающихся  на основе страноведческого материала о Рождестве в Великобритании.

Задачи:

Воспитательные

Стимулировать интерес  обучающихся к изучению английского языка, к традициям и музыке Великобритании.

Развивающие

Способствовать всестороннему развитию личности;

Активизировать познавательные интересы учащихся;

Развивать речевую культуру обучающихся .

Обучающие

Расширять и углублять знания, умения и навыки в овладении иноязычной коммуникативной деятельности;

Научить применять знания, умения и навыки как один из аспектов формирования интереса учащихся к иноязычной деятельности.

Методические

Реализовать взаимосвязь  урочной и внеурочной деятельности.

Вид занятия: Внеклассное мероприятие

Тип занятия: повторение, обобщение и применение знаний по лингвострановедческой теме «Рождество в Великобритании».

Оборудование: мультимедийная презентация, записи песен и музыки, тематические картинки, плакаты с изображением символов Рождества используются в качестве оформления кабинета при проведении мероприятия.

Использование мультимедийной презентации в ходе мероприятия позволяет активизировать зрительную память, привлечь внимание учащихся к традициям празднования Рождества в Великобритании.

Предлагаемый порядок подготовки

1. Создание инициативной группы из числа учащихся, изучающих английский язык.
2. Ознакомление учащихся с целями и задачами мероприятия.
3. Проверка знаний учащихся по теоретическим вопросам и их навыков работы со средствами ИКТ.
4. Определение состава участников.
5. Распределение учащихся по стадиям работы, ознакомление участников мероприятия с их функциями, выполняемыми в ходе подготовки.
6. Подготовка материала для проведения этапов мероприятия.

Ход мероприятия.

1часть.

Ведущий 1: Dear guests! We are happy to see you today!

Ведущий 2: Today we are having an unusual party. We are going to celebrate Christmas.

Ведущий 1: Christmas is both a religious holiday and a world-wide cultural phenomenon. 

Ведущий 2: People celebrate Christmas Day as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Ведущий 1: Enjoy our party with us! (уходят).

(Слышен звон колоколов и мелодия песни «Аве Мария». На сцену выбегают ангелы.)

Angel 1: Christmas. A moment of magic in all our lives. It’s a special time when we wish you and your families love, health, happiness and peace throughout the world.

Angel 2: The British celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December. As you know, Christmas is a religious holiday. Families attend church and exchange gifts.

Angel 3: The Christmas story comes from the Bible. It tells us an interesting story of shepherds who were watching their sheep when an angel appeared to them. He told them the birth of Jesus Christ.

Angel 4: The shepherds went there to see Jesus. The baby Jesus was born in a stable. His mother was the Virgin Mary and his father was Joseph.

Angel 5: The Bible tells us how the Wise Men followed a star until it led them to Jesus. The Wise Men gave Jesus many gifts. Because of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Christians celebrate Christmas.

На сцену выходят актеры, разыгрывающие сценку рождения Иисуса. (На экране демонстрируются слайды из жизни Иисуса Христа)

Ангел: I come down from the heavens and ask you to listen carefully. A child will be born this evening. One day he will be king.  Follow that star and you will find this prince of peace. The child's name will be Jesus.

Волхвы (вместе): We will follow the star to our prince. Музыка.

Голос за сценой: Mary has given the birth to a baby boy. She and Joseph are sitting with their baby, Jesus. They are surrounded by barnyard animals. The three approach. The star is visible in the night sky.

Мария: Joseph, we have a beautiful baby boy.

Иосиф: Yes Mary. Mary darling, look there. (Показывает на приближающихся волхвов)  Who are these men?

Подходят Волхвы.

Волхвы:

1. Greetings. I wish you great happiness and joy. I offer you, the parents of this child Jesus, my gift of gold.
2. Congratulations Mary and Joseph. This gift of spices and perfumes is for you my new prince. I have come many miles to find you. We know you are special and have only the best of wishes for you.
3. Mary and Joseph , thank you for this wonderful baby. I have come many miles to bring you this gift. You’ll be good parents and enjoy this child's life. Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!

Angel 6: A Christmas tree became popular in England in 1840.Now people put it in the house and decorate with ornaments and lights. Have a look at our Christmas tree! (показывает рукой в сторону елки).

Angel 7: It’s wonderful, isn’t it? You can see a lot of toys on it. The lights are different: red, blue, yellow, green. It is one of the main symbols of Christmas.

               Ведущий  1: Every year there is a very big Christmas tree from Norway in London, in Trafalgar square. In the evening before Christmas people come to Trafalgar Square to look at the tree.

Ведущий 2: Four weeks before Christmas people bring home a special wreath - Advent Wreath.  They put it on the table and place four candles on it. Every Sunday they light only one candle. It is an old tradition.

Ведущий 1: Holly is an evergreen plant with sharp-pointed leaves and red berries. Many years ago people began to put holly in their homes during the dark cold winters. They liked to look at holly and think about spring and the sun.

Ведущий 2: On Christmas Day at 3 o'clock p.m. English people watch the Queen on television as she delivers her traditional Christmas message to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

Santa Claus:  Many children believe that Santa Claus arrives on Christmas Eve in a sleigh pulled by a reindeer and brings presents. Some children hang up stockings so Santa Claus can fill them with candy, fruit and other small gifts.

Angel 8:  The traditional Christmas meal is roast turkey, potatoes, green vegetables and Christmas pudding. At 5 o’clock it’s time for tea and Christmas cake.

Angel 9: Some weeks before Christmas English people are very busy. They send greeting cards to all their relatives and friends.

Ведущий 1: There are a lot of holidays, but the holidays we like most of all are New Year’s Day and Christmas Day.

Ведущий 2: And when the holiday comes they congratulate each other singing songs and reciting poems.

Ведущий 1: Now we can see what poems about Christmas and New Year you have learnt. You are welcome!

Father Frost or Santa Claus, please, this way!

Funny Hare, with your paws come to play!

There are pretty decorations in the hall.

We have sent the invitations to you all.

Wear, please, your mask or cloak with joy.

We’ll dance and sing, and joke to enjoy.

Santa Claus likes to be present at the ball.

And gives his gifts and presents to us all.

All the time we are having fun — there is no pause

Welcome here everyone and Santa Claus!

Вторая часть внеклассного мероприятия «Новогодний футбол» построена в виде соревнования между командами, что способствует повышению мотивации учащихся, развитию умений работать в группе.

Новогодний футбол

Цели: актуализация материала по теме «Рождество» и «Новый год»; развитие лексических и графических навыков; тренировка навыков чтения и письменной речи.

Оборудование: карточки с заданиями по теме “Christmas Day»

Ведущий P2: Football is a national British game. In Great Britain people who are fond of sport like to play football on New Year’s Day and Christmas Day. Now we shall play football. We have two teams today. I hope you are ready to start. At first we shall sing a song “Jingle Bells” and then we’ll start to play football.

Dashing through the snow

In a one-horse open sleigh

Over the fields we go,

Laughing all the way.

Bells on bobtail ring

Making spirit bright

What fun it is to ride and sing

Ведущий P1:Let’s play! There are 11 players in a football team. So each team has 1 goal-keeper, 4 backs, 4 half- backs and 2 forwards. Now the pupils will have the tasks and in 5 minutes we’ll start the game.

The teacher:

The task for the goal-keeper:

-look at the text and fill in the necessary words.

The task for the backs:

-Write the end of the story.

The task for the half –backs:

             -Write as many words as you can on the topics  

               New Year’s Day and Christmas Day.

The task for the forwards:

• Guess the words

Ведущий 1: Our game is over! Everybody played very well.

Players say to the guests: “We wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year”.
