«Present Continuous» («Настоящее длительное время»)

Цель урока: систематизировать знания учащихся по теме «Рабочий день»; активизировать знания, умения и навыки в употреблении PresentContinuousTense

Задачи урока:

         Образовательные:

- формирование лексических умений и навыков в устной речи (умение рассказывать о действиях животных  в Present Continuous Tense)

- учить образованию предложений в Present Continuous Tense;

- учить задавать вопросы в Present Continuous Tense;

- учиться взаимоконтролю.

         Развивающие:

- продолжать развивать умение общаться на иностранном языке;

- строить высказывания по образцу и самостоятельно.

        Воспитательные:

- создать условия для привития уважения к своему речевому партнеру;

- способствовать доброжелательному отношению к животным.

Оснащение урока:

Презентация на тему: «Present Continuous Tense», табличка для выставления оценок, имена учащихся, доллары за правильный ответ, Экран, проектор, ноутбук, колонки. , мел, доска, учебники.

ХОД УРОКА

I. Организационный момент:

 1этап: Организационный момент

T: Good morning, girls and boys!

S: Good morning, good morning, our dear teacher. We are glad to see you.

T: I am very glad to see you too. Sit down, please. How are you?

S1: I am fine.

S2: I am bad.

S3: What about you?

T: I am very fine. Because it is good day!

 Well, who is absent today?

S1: Everybody is here.

T: Very nice.

Look at the screen.

I hope you are in a good mood, so let’s start our lesson. Today we will study and summarize the knowledge on topic Present continuous tense.  ( слайд 1, 2)

 II . Основная часть.

 Warm up.

 1) Фонетическаязарядка:

-First let’s prepare our tongues for the lesson. Look at the blackboard, please. Repeat after me.

[ u]  - good, look, cook, foot;

[ u:]  - zoo, afternoon, room, cool;

Balloon, balloon,

Fly to the moon!

[ i ]  - milk, chick, hill, fish ;

 [ i:]  -  sleep, read, eat, we;

[о]     - hot, stop, clock,got;

[ o:] -  saw,   horse, more, corn.                                                                                                                                

       2). Лексическая зарядка.

       -And  now, will you look at these words. Work in pairs or groups of three. Name two things that:

-are yellow.

-are found in a kitchen.

-can move very quickly.

-taste nice. ( слайд 4)

3) Введение нового грамматического материала.

Look at the blackboard, please!

– Tell me please the difference between these sentences (слайд 5)

Monkey eats bananas every day.

Monkey is eating banana now.

 (Ученики высказывают своё мнение и пытаются перевести данные предложения. Далее определяется время, в котором написаны эти предложения. The Present Continuous Tense новое время, поэтому при определении учащиеся действуют методом исключения)

– Answer my question, please. When do we use the Present Continuous Tense? (После ответов учащихся идёт объяснение учителем)

– We use the Present Continuous:

to talk about actions and situations in progress now;

to talk about actions and situations in progress around now

 4) Time Expressions used with the Present Continuous (слайд 6)

now              at the moment              at present

Spelling (слайд 7)

When verbs end in one stressed vowel between two consonants, we double

the final consonant.

Swim-swimming

Sit-sitting                            

Run-running

But

Walk-walking

Wait-waiting

Open-opening

Look at the spelling of these verbs:

Lie-lying

Die-dying

Write-writing

Drive-driving

        4) Первичное закрепление изученного грамматического материала.    (слайд 8)                                                  

You will work in pairs. One of you will translate the sentence, the other will fill in the verb, then you will change.
1) Jane …a mystery story.
2) Bill and his granddad … in the lake.
3) Sue … the violin at the concert.
4) Mike …a bike in the park.
5) I … my pet dog.
6) Kathy … a new computer game.
7) Our classmates … on the farm.

5) Let’s check your variants. Right you are. (слайд 9)

Answers:

1) Jane is reading a mystery story.

 III. Физминутка. (слайд 10)

1,1,1 - little dog run.

2,2,2 - cats see you.

3,3,3 - birds on a tree.

4,4,4 - rats on the floor.

 IV .Выполнение грамматических упражнений  на  Present Continuous

1) Make up sentences:  (слайд 11)

Работа с учебником.

 1. Ex. 1, p. 60  student’s book     -Look at the pictures and say, what they are doing.

 2. Ex. 2, p. 60  student’s book     - Read and put the sentences in the right order.

2) .Find out mistakes: (слайд 12)

(Найдите ошибки)

1. I am swiming.

2. Mr. and Mrs. Green is watching TV.

3. They are makeing a cake.

4. My friend is runing to school.

5. We are go to the cinema.

6. My brother is listenning to the radio.
