Урок английского языка «Новый год в разных странах»

Цели: актуализация материала по теме «Рождество» и «Новый год»; актуализация лексических навыков; тренировка навыков чтения и письменной речи.

Оборудование: карточки с текстами «Merry Christmas»; аудиокассета с записью песен "We Wish You a Merry Christmas"; листы с сеткой кроссворда, карандаши и фломастеры

Ход урока

Hello, my dear friends! There are many holidays in our country and English-speaking countries. But the holidays we like most of all are New Year’s Day and Christmas Day. People prepare for these holidays beforehand: they send greeting cards, buy presents, make fancy dresses and decorate their houses. And when the holiday comes they congratulate each other singing songs and reciting the poems. Now we can see what holidays about Christmas and New Year you have learnt.

The Snowman
I made a great tall snowman
With two huge coal black eyes
And just to reach around his neck
Took two of Daddy's ties.
I put a hat of mother's
Upon his rounded head
And then I ran and left him
And hurried off to bed.
When I awoke next morning
Imagine my surprise
My snowman had run away
And left his hat, ties, and eyes!

Merry Christmas

VI. It's time for the last task now. (Учитель раздает каждому ученику лист с сеткой кроссворда. Разгадав кроссворд у детей должен получиться рисунок  Деда Мороза).
