A CITY DWELLER

   It’s common knowledge that tastes differ. Nowadays there are a lot of people who prefer  living in big cities and at the same time there are others, who dream of living in the country.

 Living in a big city has a lot of advantages. There are many theatres, cinemas, museums, art galleries, modern skyscrapers, fine hotels, restaurants. People, who love shopping, can visit different shopping centres. You can check out the latest fashions and track down the must-have accessory.  If you are a fitness freak, you may find many sport centres, gyms and ice rinks in a city, which have a wide selection of activities for all fitness levels and abilities. There are lovely public gardens, amusement parks and water parks, where citizens can hang out with their friends in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. City life is fast, but very exciting. Big cities are beautiful and modern with their tall and impressive buildings, interesting architecture and design.

Among the disadvantages there are crime, high prices, pollution and bad public transport. The streets are crowded and noisy. There are a lot of coaches, cars, motorbikes in the road; drivers suffer from traffic jams and accidents. Moreover, the state of air and water may cause health problems.

But in spite of that, if you are an active person, always looking for opportunities and something new you should be a city dweller.
