Тема урока: Шотландия.

Цель урока: Обобщить лексический материал по теме.

Образовательные задачи:

• Учить владеть лексическими и грамматическими знаниями по теме.
• Развивать навыки  чтения, аудирования и неподготовленной устной речи по теме.
• Учить вести диалог с использованием выражений согласия и несогласия.

Развивающие задачи:

• Развивать навыки самостоятельной и групповой творческой работы.
• Развивать эмоцианально правильную реакцию в ходе беседы.
• Развивать мышление, внимание, логику высказывания.
• Cовершенствовать коммуникативную компетенцию учащихся.

Воспитательные задачи:

• Воспитывать у учащихся толерантное и уважительное отношение к другой культуре.
• Воспитывать желание к познанию нового.
• Создавать положительную мотивацию к изучению языка.

Учебные задачи:

• Вывести учащихся на творческий уровень владения лексическим и грамматическим материалом.
• Продолжить формировать ЗУН в аудировании.
• Продолжить формировать ЗУН в говорении.

Оборудование:

ПК, интерактивная доска, презентации в PowerPoint, видеофильм, Internet, индивидуальные доски.

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент.  

Good morning, my dear friends! What country do these pictures remind you of? Why? (Slide 1) Today we are going to talk, to read, to watch video about Scotland (Slide 2).

By the way, what do you know about Scotland? Let’s remember the general information about the country and answer the following questions (Slide 3)

2. Опрос учащихся по заданному на дом материалу.

What have you prepared for the lesson? What was your homework?  

Дети должны приготовить викторину (по 5 вопросов с выбором ответа в виде теста) по прочитанному тексту в Reader “Facts about Scotland” (pp.58-59)

Now we are going to work in groups of three reading and answering the questions. (приложение 1)   

3. Чтение с элементом грамматического задания экзаменационного типа.

 So, we have known a lot about Scotland and, to my mind, it will be easy for you to do the next task. Read the text “Scotland nowadays”. Use the words given in capitals at the end of each line to form a word that fits in the place in the same line. (Slide 4)

Remind the procedure how to do this type of work in the right way (Slide 5).

Now you are ready to start. Write down all the words in your boards. У каждого ученика есть доска формата А4, на которой они пишут фломастером свои ответы и показывают учителю. Учитель сразу видит правильные или неправильные ответы. Let’s check the task. Read the text with the appropriate words. Explain your choice. Well done! Now try to answer the following questions. (Slide 6)

4. Аудирование с общим охватом содержания, т.е. с пониманием лишь основной части. Просмотр видеофильма (video-film about Highland Games from “Introducing Great Britian”Longman) Well, let’s watch the film about Highland Games in Scotland and be ready to speak about interesting facts. Make notes on your individual boards (Slide 7)

5. Устные высказывания.

 Now let’s share of your ideas in turns.

6. Работа в парах.

We are going to work in pairs. Make up the list of 9 the most interesting facts, places, symbols connected with Scotland. What do you imagine when you think of this country and its people? They may be both words and phrases. Briefly give your opinion and reasons. Your partners should say if he/she agrees or disagrees and why.

Let me remind you of some useful statements of giving opinions, agreeing and disagreeing (Slide 6).  I’d like you to use these phrases as many as you can.

So, what are your words and phrases?

6. Игровой момент. Работа командами.  

Now it’s the time for playing. You are going to work in two teams “Tic and Tack”. I am writing your words and phrases on the screen (Slide 7). Each team should choose one of the word or phrase and retell the story which is associated with it. If the story contains five or more sentences, I mark this word with the appropriate mark “X
or “O”.

8. Индивидуальная работа. Аудирование и монологическая речь.

9. Домашнее задание.

Your homework is to make a poster or collage devoted to Scotland and to be ready to comment on it.

10. Подведение итогов. Рефлексия приобретенных знаний и умений. 

Our lesson is coming to an end. And now self-assessment. (Приложение 2)

Учитель раздает листы с вопросами (дескрипторам). Ученики заполняют вопросник  и сдают учителю.
