Конспект внеурочного мероприятия

Предмет: английский язык

Классы: 5-6

Тема: «Рождество в Великобритании»

Цели: 

Практические:
1. Развитие лексического аспекта лингвистической компетенции на материале рождественской лексики.

2. Развитие навыков говорения и чтения на базе материала презентации.

3. Формирование социокультурной компетенции на материале темы «Рождество».

Образовательные:

1. Сообщение учащимся новых знаний по рождественской теме.

2. Расширение кругозора учащихся на базе лексического материала по теме «Рождество».

Развивающие:

1. Развитие памяти, языковой догадки и логического мышления. 

2. Развитие воображения, фантазии, творческих способностей.

Воспитательные: приобщение учащихся к образцам культуры других стран, привитие у учащихся интереса к культуре страны изучаемого язык.

Оснащение: оформление кабинета (гирлянда), компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, презентация и аудио-, видеофайлы, бумажные ёлочки (аналог очкам), утешительные призы, главные призы.

План мероприятия:

1. Организационный момент.
2. Основная часть:

1. История возникновения Рождества

2.   Знакомство с рождественскими традициями.

3. Конкурс талантов.
4. Поздравление Санты, исполнение песни ‘Jingle Bells’ под караоке.

3. Подведение итогов и вручение призов. Завершение мероприятия.

Ход мероприятия:

1. Организационный момент: Открыт 1 слайд презентации, звучит ‘Jingle Bells’ в исполнении Фрэнка Синатры.

Teacher: Hello, I’m glad to see all of you here at our Christmas celebration. Today we will talk about Christmas traditions, we’ll have a skill contest (конкурс талантов) in reciting and singing and we will also sing one of the most famous Christmas songs all together. During our contests you will get points (вы будете набирать очки), I’ll give you Christmas trees made of paper. The person who has more Christmas trees, than the others will get a special prize. Are the rules clear? So, let’s start our Christmas party.

1. История возникновения Рождества

Show-host 1 : The history of Christmas began when Jesus Christ was born. Many Christians believe that he was born on the 25th of December. Christmas Day is celebrated around the world.

 Show-host 2: Among all holidays of Great Britain and the USA Christmas is the holiday of holidays! It is celebrated on December 25. Christmas is a joyful religious holiday. Before Jesus’ birth the angel came to 3 kings and said: “A child will be born this evening. One day he will become the king”

1st shepherd: The city of Bethlehem is full of people these days.

 2nd shepherd: Look! The sky! It’s getting brighter and brighter. What is it?

3rd shepherd: Is it a dream? Do you see it? I’m afraid. Let’s run away.

Angel: Don’t be afraid. I bring good news tonight. .Tonight in Bethlehem, a new King was born.

1st shepherd: The new king – born in our city?

2nd shepherd: In Bethlehem? Tonight?

3rd shepherd: Where can we find Him?

Angel: You will find this Baby in a manger in the stable.

Show-host 1:  Fife little candles burning so bright;
             The first one said "We make great light".
             The second one said "The child is born".
             The third one said "Our light will adorn".
             The fourth one said "We shine for him".
             The fifth one said "Set's not be dim".
             So they stood very tall and gloved very bright
             and the Christ child smiled that еvery night.

Show-host 2: Every year at Christmas time

       We can hear the church bell’s chime

       They ring out on Christmas morn

       For that’s the day when Jesus was born !

       And each year from Heaven above

       A special Angel brings us his love!

2.   Знакомство с рождественскими традициями.

Show-host 1: Christmas is a very old and famous holiday.  Popular customs include exchanging gifts, decorating Christmas trees, going to church, sharing meals with family and friends and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive.

Show-host 2:  Christmas tree is one of the main symbols of the holiday.  This tradition started in Germany in the 16th century. Now people decorate firs or pines with bells, bubbles, figures of angels and so on.

Show-host 1: The second New Year symbol is Santa Claus. Many people believe that Santa Claus and Saint Nicholas are the same persons. Santa Claus lives on the North Pole. His helpers are elves. His sleigh is moved by reindeer. Children leave milk and cookies on the table for Santa.

Rudolf: Hello, children. My name is Rudolf.

             I am the little Reindeer, ho, ho.

             Here I come jumping over the snow.

             Shaking my bells with a merry din –

             So open your doors and let me in.

Show-host 2:  Santa brings presents to the children. The Wise Men gave some presents to baby Jesus. On Christmas we give each other presents too. In the UK and the USA presents are left in stockings by a fireplace. Children often open their presents on Christmas day morning with all the family together.

Show-host 1:  The custom of sending Christmas cards was started in the UK in 1843. The first cards usually had pictures of the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus on them. Nowadays, cards have all sorts of pictures on them: jokes, winter pictures, Santa Claus and elves. 

Show-host 2: Traditional Christmas dinner consists of roast turkey with cranberry sauce, mince pies, Christmas pudding and mulled wine.

Show-host 1:  People continue eating Christmas food on Boxing Day and until New Year at least. Boxing Day is the 26th December and is a national holiday in the UK and Ireland.

Show-host 2: In the past on Christmas people collected money for the poor into the box, then opened it the next day. Boxing Day is another day to spend with family and friends.

Teacher: The next part of our celebration is the skill contest. You can get more than one Christmas tree if you read or sing well, without any mistakes. It’s also good if you read dramatically (выразительно). I remind you that the winner of the contest gets the special prize. So, do your best.

Teacher: That was great. You are all very talented and you can work if you like it. Thank you for your presentations. But where is Santa Claus? Let’s call him all together.  Santa Claus! Santa Claus! Santa Claus!

Звучит песня "Jingle Bells”, на сцену выходит Санта Клаус.

Santa Claus: Merry Christmas, dear friends! You worked hard today.

           See all the presents by the Christmas tree.

(Hands in sweeping motions)

Some for you

(Points to children)

And some for me.

(Points to self)

Long ones,

(Hands spread wide apart)

Tall ones,

(Measures from the floor)

Short ones, too.

(Hands close together)

And here is a round one

(Makes a circle with arms)

Wrapped in blue.

Isn't it fun to look and see

All the presents by the Christmas tree?
