      Конспект урока-игры по английскому языку для 5 класса   «Великобритания» в рамках проведения школьной недели английского языка.  

(учебник «Английский язык» И.Н. Верещагина, О.В. Афанасьева  для 5 класса)

       Тема урока: Повторение и закрепление  пройденного материала.         

Цели:

1. Формировать и развивать навыки работы в группе.
2. Формировать социокультурную компетентность; воспитывать интерес к изучению         английского языка.

Задачи:

Развивающая:

1. Развитие у детей внимания, логического мышления, умения вести беседу;
2. Развитие желания к получению большей информации по изучаемой теме;
3. Развитие логического мышления и языковой культуры;

Воспитательная:

1. Воспитание уважительного отношения к языку и культуре другой страны;
2. Воспитание культуры общения и потребности в практическом использовании языка.

Средства обучения:  мультимедийный  проектор, экспозиционный экран, компьютер, презентации Power Point по теме «Великобритания».

                                                         Ход урока.

T: -Good afternoon, children and our guests! I’m very glad to see you. All children like to play. That’s why we shall play the game today. There are two teams in our classroom and we have two members of our jury today. It’s time to introduce  yourselves. Who is the captain of the 1 st team?

P1: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is « Smiles». Our motto is « Be happy with English and Smile» .

T: Who is the captain of the  2 nd team?

P1: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is « Funny Pupils». Our motto is « We are the best!  » .

T: Today all of you have a good chance to improve your English during the game. I want to invite a jury to count the game points. The members of our jury are… Well , I wish you success.

 1 contest: You should answer the questions as quickly as you can. For each right answer you’ll get one point. Each team should answer my question in turn.Каждая команда по очереди отвечает на вопросы.

                                            English Traditions .

Every  1)…….and every country has its own 2)…….and traditions. In Britain traditions play a more important part in the 3) ......of the people than in other countries.
Englishmen are proud of their traditions and carefully  4) ……them up. It has been the law for about  5)……..hundred years that all the theatres are closed on Sundays. 5 contest: What do you know about differences between the British and the continental ways of life.Choose the right sentences.Ученикам раздают разрезанные 14 предложений : одна команда отбирает предложения  об образе жизни  в Британии, а другая об образе жизни на континенте.

7 contest: Now we have the last task for our captains. You should 5 words of some topics.Капитаны по очереди берут карточку и  выполняют задания.
