Урок английского языка в 7 классе по теме: «Чтение зарубежных рассказов» УМК О.В. Афанасьева И.В. Михеева

Тип урока: обобщение изученного материала

Тема: «Pleasure of Reading (удовольствие чтения)»

Цель: закрепление знаний учащихся по теме

Задачи:

• обучающая: закрепить умения и навыки практического владения языком по данной теме;

развить умения монологической и диалогической речи;

познакомить учащихся с новым понятием: afable (басня)

• развивающая:  расширить кругозор учащихся о различных жанрах книг;

познакомить с творчеством Джоан Роулинг (Joanne "Jo" Rowling), Льюиса Кэррола (Lewis Carroll), Уильяма Шекспира (William Shakespeare).

развить самостоятельное мышление, активную учебную деятельность, познавательные интересы;

• воспитательная: воспитание и привитие интереса к чтению книг различных жанров.

Оборудование: компьютер, проектор, CD, реквизиты для сценки.

Ход урока

1. Орг. момент

T: Good morning boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. Sitdown, please.

T: Listen to the text and answer the questions:

1. Which characters were mentioned?

2. Who is the author of the story?

How do you think what is the topic of our lesson?

T: Right you are. We are going to speak about the favour of reading. I think the lesson will be interesting and you’ll enjoy the journey to our imaginary country.

Though earlier our country was the most reading, nowadays pupils are interested in reading less.

Let’s check up which most famous writers do you know?

-Who has written “Romeo and Juliette?”

- Who is the author of “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland”?

- What Joanne Rowling is famous for?3 мин.

2) Фонетическая разминка.

Записьнадоске (слайд).Lookattheboard (screen). What can you see there? Right you are! Here are the names of some popular writers and playwrights, and some genres. Repeat all the words after me (повторяютименаиназвания).

Roald Dahl was a British novelist, short story writer, poet, screenwriter.

William Shakespeare was an English poet, playwright, and actor.

Lewis Carroll’s most famous writing is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

Joanne "Jo" Rowling is a British novelist best known as the author of the Harry Potter fantasy.

II. Основной этап.

1) Развитие навыков аудирования (групповая работа).

Список произведений с авторами (обложки) – слушают короткий отрывок из книги, сопоставляют название и услышанный текст.

Joanne "Jo" Rowling “Harry potter and the prisoner of Azkaban”.

Harry turned back to the remaining owls. One of them, the large snowy female, was his own Hedwig. She, too, was carrying a parcel and looked extremely pleased with herself. She gave Harry an affectionate nip with her beak as he removed her burden, then flew across the room to join Errol.

  Harry didn't recognize the third owl, a handsome tawny one, but he knew at once where it had come from, because in addition to a third package, it was carrying a letter bearing the Hogwarts crest. When Harry relieved this owl of its burden, it ruffled its feathers importantly, stretched its wings, and took off through the window into the night.

Alice and her big sister were sitting on the grass. Her sister was reading a book, but Alice had nothing to read… She was too sleepy… Just then, a white rabbit went by, very near to her. That does not happen every day, but Alice did not wonder about it. But she did wonder when the rabbit took the watch out of its pocket and looked at it.

You’ve matched all the text to their headings. Now your task is to read the following sentences and put them in the correct order. If you made everything right, you would have the next key – word. (либо из учебника красная шапочка)

4) Развитие диалогической речи (парная работа).

(Следующее задание-разыграть диалог из рассказа Алиса в стране чудес. Передэтимвставитьпропущенныесловапосмыслу).

Let’s continue our work. We should revise some characters from another story. (отрывок видео диалог кролика и Алисы). Whom can you see here? That’s right! They are Alice and a Rabbit! Our task now is to fill the gaps using the words in the box. Then you should act out this dialogue.

Alice: Oh, Dinah. It's justarabbitwithawaistcoatand a watch!

Rabbit: Oh, my fur and whiskers! I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!

Alice: Now this is curious. What could a rabbit possibly be late for? [running after him] Please, sir!

Rabbit: I'm late, I'm late. For a very important date. No time to say hello. Goodbye. I'm late, I'm late, I'm late.

Alice: It must be awfully important, like a party or something. Mr. Rabbit! Wait!

Rabbit: No, no,no,no,no,no. I’m over due! I’m really in a stew. No time to say goodbye! Hello! I'm late, I'm late, I'm late.

4) Развитиенавыковписьменнойречи (индивидуальная работа).

(В виде открытой книги – ватман – на одной странице изображены персонажи рассказа или сказки, напротив – описательные прилагательные, которыми можно их охарактеризовать. Учащимся выдается по листу бумаги, где они должны написать про одного из героев. В конце прикрепляются все отрывки напротив каждого героя, некоторые зачитываются учителем).

(В детстве многие мои сверстники увлекались чтением сказок и фантастических рассказов. А что вы можете сказать про себя? Расскажите о своей любимой книге).

Раздаются клише с фразами, которыми можно описать свою любимую книгу.

Составляют предложение из всех полученных слов, зачитывают все вместе предложение, переводят его.We like reading most of all.

III. Заключительныйэтап.

1) Рефлексия.
