План-конспект открытого урока по  теме «Интересное о насекомых»

УМК: “Spotlight для 5 класса” Н.И.Быкова, Дж. Дули, О.Е. Подоляко, В.Эвенс.

Обучающая цель: знакомство с новой лексикой «Насекомые»; обучение поисковому, ознакомительному чтению на основе текста “It’s an insect’s life!”;

Развивающая: развивать 3 вида речевой деятельности (чтение, аудирование, письмо, говорение); развитие умения работать в парах; развитие письменной и  устной связной речи по теме «Описание насекомого»,

Воспитательная: воспитание любви к животному миру, умения работать в парах, воспитывать чувство взаимопомощи.

Оснащение: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, паспорта насекомых, презентация, аудиозапись песни, лепестки цветков с заданиями, фигурки пчел для подсчета баллов.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент ( слайд № 1)

Приветствие:

Let’s begin our lesson.

2. Речевая зарядка. Warming up

T: My, friends, the world around us is amazing and beautiful.

Т:Look at the screen (слайд 2, щелчок звука). What is it ? This is a meadow. Listen to the sounds. What sounds do you hear ?

Are they animals?

No!!! Of course they are not animals.

Т: What are they?

Pupils: Insects.

T: Today we are going to travel to an interesting world of insects. Please, try to say the theme of our lesson. ( Interesting facts about insects- учитель записывает тему на доске, учащиеся – в тетради  ).  Today we will work in pairs. You should help each other and do the task together.  You see the petals on your tables.  These are tasks.  A lot of colours ( учитель показывает цвета ). Do the tasks and put the petal into your flower. You will be given a bee for the right answer. Make the flowers for your bees. Work hard like bees.

3. Введение новой лексики. Фонетическая зарядка ( слова с транскрипцией на доске).( слайд 3)

4. Ознакомительное и поисковое чтение. ( task № 1, yellow petals. Time-  4 min ) Чтение текста учителем, затем по цепочке учениками.

 Проверка результатов. If you are ready, raise  your hands. ( слайд  № 6)

5. Выполнение творческого задания. ( task № 2, light blue petals,  your time is 1 min)

Who studies insects ?  Name this profession ( entomologist ) – слайд № 7.

Become an entomologist !  Write down ground and flying insects. ( задания по рядам).

What can ground insects do ? ( they can  run and crawl   )

What can flying insects do ?  ( they can  run and fly )

6. Развитие навыков письменной и устной связной речи ( составление паспорта насекомого на примере пчелы ) ( white petals-task № 3, your time is 5 min ).

Let`s watch the short  film about bees. ( слайд № 8 )

What can it do ? ( It can fly, run, pollinate  flowers and even make honey ).

Is it important for nature ? Is it important for people ?

Is honey useful ?  It makes people healthy.

Let`s  learn the parts of  bee`s body ( называем части тела- Слайд № 9).

What has a bee got ? It has got…

Составление паспорта. Fill in your passports.

Аудирование. Песня ( щелчок на слайде 9 )

What else can bees do ? They can buzz. Add this verb into your passport/

The word «sweet» has two meanings 1. Sweet ( delicious) ice-cream

2. sweet ( nice ) creature

9.  Подведение итогов. Составление синквейна  ( task № 5, white petals).- 5 min

To make conclusion of our lesson let`s make sinquan. It consists of 5 lines. (слайд № 10)

Line 1 – What ? One word (a noun) naming the subject of the verse.Insects
Line 2 - What ? Two words (adjectives) describing the subject. What are they ?
Line 3 - What does it  do? Three words (verbs) describing the subject's actions. What can they do ?
Line 4 – Phrase. Four words giving the writer's opinion of the subject.
Line 5 – Resume. One word (noun) giving another name for the subject. Bright word describing an insect.

10. Оценивание учащихся.

I’m a bee. I work much, day and night. I have a big family. All bees work hard. There is an English saying: аs busy as a bee. Do you know its Russian equivalent? – (трудолюбивый как пчелка).And you worked as bees. Let`s count your bees.
