Разработка открытого урока в 8а классе по теме:

«Города США» (защита проектов)

Цель и задачи:

Обучающие:

  1. Активизировать и расширить словарный запас обучающихся по теме «Путешествие», обобщение знаний по теме «США»
  2. Совершенствовать грамматические навыки по теме Present Perfect
  3. Развивать навыки и умения представлять свой проект, используя монологическую речь.
  4. Развивать навыки поискового чтения
  5. Развивать навыки аудирования на основе прослушивания англоязычной песни
  6. Учить работать в группах на уроке, используя полученные знания.

Воспитательные:

  1. Прививать умение работать в коллективе; общаться друг с другом.
  2. Воспитывать культуру поведения.
  3. Воспитывать трудолюбие и усидчивость.
  4.  Поддержание интереса к учебной деятельности
  5. Воспитывать толерантность к культуре другой страны

Развивающие:

  1. Развивать коммуникативные компетентности.
  2. Развивать познавательную компетентность.
  3. Развивать креативную компетентность.
  4. Развивать фонематический слух у учащихся.
  5. Развивать произвольное внимание и память у учащихся.

Тип урока: обобщающий урок комплексного развития лексико-грамматических навыков и  речевых умений (с использованием мультимедийных продуктов).

Оснащение урока: Мультимедийный проектор, компьютер, проектные работы учащихся, листы с заданиями для каждого учащегося.

Ход урока.

  1.Организационный момент. 1 m

Задача: подготовка обучающихся к работе.

Т. - Good morning, boys and girls! How are you today?  I’m very glad to see you. And we are so pleased to see our guests today let’s say them “Hello”. We’ll try to make our lesson useful and interesting. How have I called our lesson? (слайд 1) Look at the screen.

P1 “The cities of the USA”

T. Why? Because we’re going to speak about the USA’s cities.  At our lesson we’re going to listen to your presentation of the cities you’ve chosen and to find out what city of the USA you would like to visit most. I want you to remember the question (слайд 2) which you’ll have to answer at the end of our lesson. We have to help each other be kind and friendly.  So let’s begin.

2. Фонетическая зарядка. 3 m

Задача: развитие произносительных навыков декламации стихотворения

Т. - At first you should train our tongue. Let’s look at the screen. Listen and repeat after me all together. (Слайд №3) Now who can do it without my help?Ученики повторяют рифмовку за учителем, затем самостоятельно на скорость.

Have you ever seen the beaches of Mexico?

Have you ever walked the streets of San Juan?

Have you ever been to Haiti?

Have you ever been to Spain?

Have you ever walked bare foot in the heavy rain?

Have you ever been in trouble?

Have you ever been in pain?

Have you ever been in love?

Would you do it all again?

Well , I’ve never seen the beaches of Mexico.

I’ve never walked the streets of San Juan.

I’ve never been to Haiti.

I’ve never been to Spain.

I’ve never walked bare foot in the heavy rain.

But I’ve sure been in trouble.

I’ve sure been in pain.

I’ve sure been in live.

I’d do it all again.

3. “Мозговой штурм” Групповая работа. 5 – 7 m

Задача: повторение географических названий

Цель игры – выяснить, что учащиеся уже знают о США.

Класс делится на четыре группы по четыре-пять человек. Каждой группе выдаётся лист бумаги, на котором заранее написаны заголовки Cities, States, Rivers, Mountains (города, штаты, реки, горы). Учащимся необходимо записать совместными усилиями известную им на данный момент информацию о США под предложенными заголовками, добавляя артикль the. Работа проводится довольно быстро, за определённое время – 5-7 минут.

T: Let’s play. The aim of the game is to discover how much you know about the USA. Work in groups. Look at the board and group the names using the. I’ll give you 5-7 minutes.

Когда время истекло, их заполненные листы сравниваются следующим образом: один ученик из каждой группы читает записи, учитель заносит их  на доску.

T: Your time is finished; what cities (states, rivers and mountains) have you written? Read, please. (P1 P2 P3… ) Ученики фронтально читают географические названия США  (слайды 5,6,7)

Т. - Now please, answer the questions: ( ученики отвечают на вопросы о географических особенностях США)

Т. -  What two states have the same names as the cities?

 Р1. - Washington, New York

Т. -  What is one of the largest state which is famous for its cowboys?

Р2. -  Texas

Т. -  What state was Russian?

Р3. - Alaska

Т. -  What states have similar names with the rivers?

Р4. -  Alabama, Mississippi, Ohio, Arkansas, Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, Connecticut

Т. - Oh I see you remember a lot. Good pupils.

4. Выполнение задания на чтение: 5 м 

Задача: Развитие навыков поискового чтения

Т.   - Oh! An advertisement? (Слайд 8) You are interested in visiting the USA and you have seen this advertisement in a magazine. How much information can you find? Look through the advertisement and answer the questions.  Ученики читают рекламу и отвечают на вопросы  P1, P2, P3, P4, P5 …

Т. - What agency offers the trip?

Т. - It is a 7day trip, isn’t it?

Т. - What is Florida?

 Т. - You will not go on a trip alone, will you? Who else will go?

Т. -  What other information does the advertisement have?

Т. -  Would you like to know something else about the trip? What questions do you have?

5. Физкультминутка. (Знакомство с прозвищами городов США) 5-7 м (слайд 9)

T. Oh, It’s clear you are tired a little, aren’t you?  Do you remember what city is called “The Big Apple?”

P - New York, of course

T. And I have the information that a lot of American cities have their own nicknames. Let’s mime them. One of you come to my table and mime the word. Others try to guess what you are showing? Find out the nickname of the city. You’ll have the list of cities in your work sheets. Учащиеся по очереди выходят к доске и  пантомимой изображают прозвища различных городов США – остальные ученики должны назвать прозвище.

Los Angeles is a city of Angeles

Atlanta is the Big Peach.

Chicago is the Windy city

New Orleans is the Fat city

Indianapolis is the Circle city

Seattle is the Rain city

Miami is the Magic city

Springfield is the Queen city

Kansas city is the Heart of America

6.Защита проектов. 10m

Задача: развитие навыков монологической речи.

Т. - Well I’m so glad you are so active and clever. Now it’s time for your project work. The first group is ready to tell us and our guests about The Fat City – New Orleans. I’d like you to come to the blackboard. Are you ready?  

2 – 3 ученика представляют свои проекты «Города США» Чикаго, Новый Орлеан и Нью Йорк.

T. Creative work! Thanks a lot. Now it’s time for Chicago city. Who remembered its nickname? The windy city. Girls, come here.

T. Outstanding performance. You make me proud.

7. Развитие навыков аудирования. 10m

T. You know I love one US city, where I have some friends. I haven’t been there yet. But I hope to visit it soon. Look at the screen and tell me what city it is. (слайд 10).

Р. – New York

Т. - There are a lot of songs about this incredible city. But perhaps the most famous is the song of Frank Sinatra “Little town blues”.  (Слайд 11)

Т. – библиографическая справка о Фрэнке Синатре. Francis Sinatra, born December 12, 1915 in Hoboken, New Jersey, was an American singer and actor. His charismatic and explosive personality made him "bigger than life." Some of his songs became so popular they are now a part of the American lexicon (New York, New York!)  American singer and actor who, through a long career and a very public personal life, became one of the most incredible performers in the entertainment industry; he is often called  the greatest American singer of 20th-century popular music. He died on May 14, 1998, Los Angeles, California

Т. - Now we are going to listen to his song. But we won’t just listen. We’ll do some task. Look at your papers.

Т. -  In your worksheets you’ll find some expressions? What do they mean? Put the letters. Some letters will be repeated. (Слайд 12) Снятие языковых трудностей.
