Достоинством этого урока считаю актуальный грамматический материал по теме "Вопросы". В конце каждой презентации студенты продемонстрировали свои умения слушать и понимать выступающих и правильно задавать вопросы по теме.

Warming up.
Good morning dear colleagues and students! Welcome to our English lesson! You do know that the topic of today`s lesson is “Faces of the Internet”. Though there are different opinions on such а matter as the Internet, today we are going to point out its benefits and harms, we have to assume that the Internet has become a matter-of-course thing. However, we have a subtopic of today`s lesson and I would like you to guess what it is. To do this I want you to watch a very powerful video and to memorize the first line that the actor pronounces. (Students watch a video with Hamlet`s monologue, starting with “To be or not to be…” with Kenneth Branagh). So,
What was the first line that the actor pronounced?
Today we are learning to ask good questions and to ask questions correctly. It is an extremely important skill in communication.
The objectives of the lesson you can see on the screen.
The main part of the lesson.
- We are starting with the exercise from our course book, you see it on the screen. The task is to make questions about Peter Morgan to the underlined part of a sentence. You have to read a sentence, translate and ask a question. (Slide 4).
- Now, I would like you to prepare a questionnaire to carry out a survey about the use of the Internet at out college. Use these expressions for your questions. Look at the screen. (Slide 5).
- You are to read some quotations about the Internet and comment on them, saying what opportunity of the Internet it speaks about. Look at the screen. (Slide 7).
- At home you were to make a study on two topics “Advantage and Disadvantage Influences of the Internet on a Human Life” and “Computer Games” and their influences on children and teenagers. You are to listen to the presentations and ask as many questions as you can. (Students present their works and answer student`s questions).
