Урок английского языка в 7 классе
по теме « Легко ли быть молодым?»
Цели урока:
1) активизация навыков устной речи по теме «проблемы подростков»;
2) формирование навыков чтения;
3) совершенствование навыков аудирования.
Ход урока
1. Организационный момент
Today we shall find out if it is easy to be young.
2. Фонетическая разминка
You can see different words on the blackboard. What can you say about them? You are right they are adjectives. These adjectives can help us to describe people and their mood. Can you read them slowly and quickly, aloud and in a whisper?
happy счастливый ['hæpi]
angry сердитый ['æŋgri]
sad печальный [sæd]
upset расстроенный [٨p'set]
surprised удивленный [sə'praizd]
frightened испуганный ['fraitnd]
glad довольный [glæd]
depressed подавленный [di'presd]
tired усталый [taiəd]
3. Речевая разминка
I would like you to answer my questions. Be active and attentive, please.
1. Are you happy now? Why? Why not?
2. When are you angry?
3. Is your friend often sad? Why?
4. What makes pupils happy / unhappy?
5. When are people frightened?
4. Активизация навыков устной речи
It is time to open your textbooks and look at the picture, page 62. You can see photos of some teenagers. Can you guess what problems they have? The table of ex. 1 page 62 will help you to make up the sentences.
I think Jim is upset because he is not allowed to get a Saturday job.
I think Claudia is unhappy because she has not got any friend.
I think Angela is sad because she has problems with her mum.
I think Oliver is angry because he has problem with his homework.
I think Martin is frightened because he is out of luck.
5. Физкультминутка
Stand up. Hands down. Hands on hips. Jump!
Stand still. Hands to the sides.
Bend left. Bend right.
Clap your hands. Stand still. Sit down.
6. Формирование навыков чтения
Let’s check up your guesses. Let’s read the information from ex. 2 page 62-63 and discuss if you have the same problems or not. Who is ready to start? What are your problems?
7. Активизация навыков устной речи на основе почитанного материала
We have read that the participants of Teenagers Conference have different problems.
Which of them are connected with school? Look through the text and read them aloud.
You can see the example in ex. 3 p. 63.
My teachers and my parents are not happy with my marks at school. I do not feel comfortable with my classmates. I should take care of my little brother and do my homework for Monday. I hate Science because the teacher is so boring.
8. Совершенствование навыков аудирования
It is time to listen to George and his story about his problems. Listen to the story and say if Georges problem can be solved in the future. Listen to the story again and fill in the table in
ex. 4 p. 63.
I am dreaming of having a room of my own. At the moment I share the room with my elder brother. He is a student of the medical college. He is allowed to live as he want. I am not allowed to listen to loud music as my brother is always busy with his lessons. He is allowed to invite his boring friend over. And I am not allowed to stay in the room when they are preparing for their tests. He is allowed to stuff our room with horrible skeletons, but I am not allowed to take even a small dog in there. I am so depressed about it. O course he is allowed to go out on Saturday evenings with his new girlfriend. Though I am not allowed to go out, these evenings are happiest ones for me! I am allowed to watch videos, to phone my friends and to watch TV late. They say my brother is going to find a flat not far from the college. I hope it happens soon!
9. Итоги
It is not easy to be young, is it? Why? Now you know what problems teenagers can have.
