Презентация открытого урока на тему:

 «Природа и проблемы экологии.»

 для 8 класса.

Цели:        

Образовательная:

1)Совершенствование  лексических навыков  по теме «Природа и проблемы экологии».

2) Развитие навыков говорения по теме «Природа и проблемы экологии».

3)Активизация грамматических навыков , употреблении условных предложении  2 и 3 типов.

Развивающая:

1)Развивать механизм языковой догадки

2)Обучать делать выводы и обобщения  по основным проблемам  темы

Воспитательная:

1)Воспитывать у учащихся интерес к изучению английского языка

2)Прививать чувство любви и бережного отношения к окружающей среде

УМК: «Enjoy English» 8 класс, под редакцией М.З. Биболетовой, Н.Н. .Tрубаневой

Оснащение урока:  доска, компьютер с проектором, презентация в  Power Point, раздаточный материал, грамматические и лексические таблицы, тематические картинки, видео(песня)

I. Вступительная часть

1.Приветствие

T: Good morning, boys

P: Good morning.

T: I am glad to see you.

P: We are glad to see you too.

T: Thank you, sit down.

2. Оргмомент

T: Who is on duty today?

P1: I am on duty today.

T: What’s the date?

P1: Today is the 14-th of December.

T: What day of the week is it today?

P: Today is Tuesday.

T: All a present today?- Yes.

Let’s pronounce the following words. Try to find out what environmental problem we’ll discuss today. Repeat after me, please. ( слайд 2)

[r] – bury, rubbish, throw away, recycle, recyclable, protect

[p] – paper, pet food, pollution, packaging

[k] – can, container, countryside, cut

[s] – stuff, useful, waste, instead

Please answer my questions. What is Environment?( слайд 3)

P1 – Environment is everything around us.

P2 – The water we drink.

P3 – The soil we walk on.

P4 – The air we breathe.

P5 – Nature with its variety.

P6 – Animals.

Very good. Now, I’d like to know, what words do you associate with the word «Environment»

Possible answers: Water, sky, river, forest, birds, animals, nature, and people

During our lesson we are studying about the environment and the most important problems of our planet and discuss all possible ways of solving these problems .Let’s start. And I’d like to add, I’ll give you sheets, where you’ll put marks by yourself.  At the end of the lesson we’ll sum up them.

II. Основная часть

1. Совершенствование  лексических навыков  по теме «Природа и проблемы экологии».( слайд 4)

Let us to do some tasks and Give synonyms to these words .I will give you cards and 1 minute. Be attentive, try to guess

        Litter                                         trash

        to say “no” to smth.                  refuse

        to make smth. less                    reduce

        poisonous                                 toxic                  

Now I want to check your answers. You can see the right variant on the screen. O.k. well done. How clever of you. The next task for  you.

You are to find the odd word out. Oleg, please read the first column. ( слайд 5)

2. Развитие навыков устной речи, говорения по теме «Природа и проблемы экологии».

Look at the blackboard, please. There is a quotation by a famous English writer G. Galsworthy – P1 - “If you don`t think about your future, you will not have it”.

 T: What does it mean? How do you understand it in connection with our topic?

P1 – In order to live long we should think about our future, not make mistakes in present.

P2 – We should not damage our planet.

P3 – We should understand our personal responsibility.

P4- And the most we should recycle our litter

 –You are quite right. I think that all of us are responsible pupils and you’ll do your best to save our planet from pollution.

Boys and girls, let’s remember what is it Conditional II and III. One of you will come to the blackboard and write its formula.

II  тип- маловероятное событие

III-тип- нереальное событие

And now come to my desk and take these sheets, please. Your task will be to line up according to the alphabetical order. At first look at each other sheets. That’s right, now I will divide you into 4 little groups. Look at the walls. There are several opinion, let’s imagine what would happen if… At first you are to write your opinion and only then to exchange with other group. ( 2 сек.)

Situations:-If people thought about the Earth before they throw smth away…( there would be much cleaner on our planet now)

-If people took as much rubbish as they could to local recycling centers…(they would recycle it)

-If people avoid buy packaged goods…(there would be less litter in the streets)

-If people didn’t drop litter…(it would be cleaner in towns and in the country)

T: well, it’s time to exchange. The tallest pupil of your group will read  these opinions.

How clever of you. I liked your answers.

Well, we remembered Conditional II, and now I advise you to do the next task in cards. Open the brackets using Conditional III.

T: At the end of our lesson I‘d like you to listen to one song, which is about ecology and it’s problems. But when you will listen to it, you task will be to fill in the gaps. Then your task will be to check it by yourself ( on the screen).

It’s the next, main question. We talked a lot about ecological problems, the ways of solutions. That’s why answer my question: « What can we do to save the Earth?»

P1- We must put our litter into the bins

P2-We must not cut down and break trees and pick up flowers

P3- People must not throw their litter into the rivers

P4-We must feed birds in winter

P5-Factories must stop polluting the air
