ASPIRIN Felix Hoffmann, a German chemist, produced a stable form of acetylsalicylic acid, more commonly known as aspirin, in 1897. Hoffmann, was searching for something to relieve his father's arthritis. ICE CREAM CONE In its purest form an ice cream cone should be of conical shape. The first true edible conical shaped cone for serving ice cream was created at the St. Louis Worlds Fair by Ernest Hamwi in 1904. The guest was ecstatic (восторженный) over the browned, paper-thin potatoes, and other diners began requesting Crum's potato chips .
