УРОКА ПО АНГЛИЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ

в 5 классе на тему:

«What kind of people are we?»

Тема урока:  What kind of people are we?

Цель урока: формирование лексических навыков в устной речи по теме            “What kind of people are we?”

Задачи урока:

образовательная: контроль навыков выразительного чтения;

                                 совершенствование навыков выразительного чтения;

                                 закрепление пройденной темы;

                                 введение новой лексики;

развивающая:      способствование развитию познавательной деятельности    

                                 учащихся: мышления, внимания, способности к догадке;

воспитательная:  воспитание самостоятельности и умения работать в      

                                 коллективе.

Оснащение: УМК “Enjoy English”, проектор, карточка с заданиями,

                        транскрипционные знаки, цветные карточки.

Конспект урока:

I    Организационный момент.

   - Good morning, children. I’m glad to see you. The topic of our lesson today is “What kind of people are we?”. Today we are going to revise all we know about ourselves, listen and read the dialogue, learn new words concerning “jobs”, make a short story about your family.

II   Речевая разминка.

     -Let’s speak about ourselves a little.

        Questions:

      - What foreign languages do you know ?

      - What are your hobbies?

      - Do you play any musical instruments?

      - Have you got a lot of friends?

III   Фонетическая зарядка.

      - Now, children, let’s revise the adjectives which are characteristics of people. Here are the sounds. Your task is to name the adjectives where we can find these sounds.

      Sounds: [i], [s], [d], [n], [k].

IV   Контроль навыка выразительного чтения диалога.

      - We spoke a little about ourselves and now let’s speak about Linda’s family. As you know, Linda is an English girl.

      - Let’s listen to the dialogue between Linda and a correspondent. Find ex.6, p.42-43. Put your earphones and listen to it.

      - Read the dialogue in pairs.

      - Let’s imagine yourselves in the role of Linda, a correspondent and a translator.

      - Look at the dialogue once more and find the adjectives which describe people. Read them and translate.

V   Закрепление изученной лексики (прилагательные).

      - It’s time to check your home task. It was to learn the adjectives for the dictation. I’ll give you some cards and your task is to fill in the blanks.

      - Now, children, check your short dictations using the screen. (слайд)

      - You have 3 cards on your desks: a green card – “no mistakes”

                                                              a yellow card – “1/2 mistakes”

                                                              a red card – “many mistakes”.

      - You should raise the necessary card.

VI   Физкультминутка.

      - I think you are tired. I want you to have a short rest. Let’s look at the screen and repeat.

      - Look at this girl. Now describe her. What are her main traits of character? (слайд).

VII   Введение и первичное закрепление новой лексики (профессии).

      - There are many jobs (occupations, professions) in the world. Some of them are presented in our textbook. Open your books at page 45, ex.11. Please, repeat the words after me.

      - Look at the screen. Let’s guess the translation of these words. What is he/she? (слайды).

      - Let’s work with your textbooks a little. Open your books at page 49, ex.25. Say what characteristics are necessary for the following jobs. I’ll give you 2 minutes.

VIII   Развитие навыков монологической речи на основе пройденной лексики (черты характера, профессии).

      - At the beginning of the lesson we spoke about Linda’s family. Now, children, let’s speak about your families. Look at the screen. Make a short story about your family following these questions. (слайд)

        Questions:

1. What would you say your family is like?
2. What do your parents do?
3. Have you got any brothers or sisters?

X   Рефлексия учебной деятельности на уроке.

      - Our lesson brings us to the end. Let’s sum up our lesson.

      - What was the aim of our lesson?

      - What have we leant?

      - What kind of people are we?

      - Open your record books and write down your home task. Ex.11, p.45 – to learn by heart.
