Jim: I say, Cathy, how about Sarah’s party on Saturday? We all are going to be there. Are you coming too?

Cathy: I wish I could, Jim. But we are moving the house this Saturday and I need to help my family with all that stuff.

Jim: You are moving! Where to? Is it far from here?

Cathy: No, not really. And fortunately I won’t have to change school. There’s another school much closer to our new home, and my parents wanted to put me there at first, but I didn’t agree. It’ll take me a bit longer to get to my old school in the morning, but I’ll stay with my old friends.

Jim: Great! And what’s your new home look like?

Cathy: Well, the first thing – it’s bigger. And I’ll have a room of my own there. Great, isn’t it! I’ve always been sharing a room with my sister. It’s not bad, and we get along quite well together, but it’s not like having your own place! I’m already thinking about how I’m going to decorate my room to make it look nice and cozy.

Jim: I see what you mean. It’s nice to have a place of your own. If you want to be left alone, you can just close the door.

Cathy: Right. And mum promised to put new furniture in my room. I need to choose what I want and then we’ll discuss where we can buy it. If it’s not very expensive, of course.

Jim: Have you chosen anything yet?

Cathy: Not yet. I want every piece in my room to match the other and it’s not easy, you know.

Jim: You should probably draw your new room and furnish it on the paper. Just like a project design. It can also be done on computer. You can try different furniture styles, different accessories and colours. And then you can experiment and then decide which variant you like better.

Cathy: Sounds like a good idea. And can you help me to make the project design on the computer? I’m not skilled enough for that.

Jim: Sure, I can. Cathy, if you need any help with moving the house, let me know. I’m very skilled in packing things and in moving furniture too.

Cathy: But you were going to Sarah’s party this Saturday…

Jim: It’s not my biggest priority. As far as you are not going to be there anyway…

Cathy: Thanks, Jim. We’d all appreciate it if you could come on Saturday and help us with moving.
