Лексико-грамматическая викторина для 5 классов

“ WE LOVE ENGLISH”

В игре принимают участие 2 команды по 5 учащихся в каждой, которые заранее выбирают капитана, эмблему и название.

На викторине присутствует учитель или ученик старших классов, который ведёт подсчёт баллов. За каждый правильный ответ ребята получают баллы, которые суммируются и по итогам определяется команда победитель.

Цели мероприятия:

Повторить пройденный  учебный материал в неформальной обстановке при помощи игр и конкурсов.

Подвести итог учебной работе на данном этапе обучения английскому языку.

Повысить интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка.

Развитие умения работать в команде.

Оборудование:

Бейджи с именами детей, мультимедиа проектор, раздаточный материал для команд, карточки с глаголами, лист подсчёта голосов для жюри.

Ход мероприятия:

Приветствие.

Hello everybody! We are very glad to meet you. Today we’ll play different games and we’ll call to memory all we know.  We have two teams and all members of these teams extremely like English. And they always get good marks.  The first team is called BRIGHT LIONS and the second team is called SMART TIGERS.  So we are ready to start.

Our first task is called “Words”.  Now you should find  words  in the list of letters. For each word you’ll get one point. There are 8 words in the crossword. You can see different pictures and they’ll help you to find words.  You have 2 minutes to do this task.  ( Приложение 1)

Elephants can work in a circus. They are huge, heavy and fat, but they are kind and talented. They can dance. I like elephants.

Alligators can’t work in a circus. Children are scared of crocodiles because they have got big teeth. They are dangerous. They can eat you.

People often say that the lion is the symbol of strength. We say “strong as a lion”, or “lion-hearted”. Lions are members of the cat family. As a rule, a lion is about nine feet long and its weight is about 400 or 500 pounds. The lion’s voice is a roar or a growl. Unlike other cats, it can swim in deep water. Lions like to live in the open area and they don’t like to live in forests. They drink once a day, that’s why they always live near some water. Lions may live alone or in pairs, or in groups which are known as “prides”. Lions hunt at night and have a rest during the day.
