                                    Lesson plan.

1) Hello everyone!  Welcome to our lesson. If you want to know  the topic of our lesson, you should solve the crossword puzzle

                       Down:

1. A very large boat used for carrying people. (ship) 

2. A road vehicle for one driver and four passengers. (car) 

3. An aircraft with wings and engine. (plane) 

4. A group of railway vehicles pulled by an engine. (train)

                       Across:

4.   To go on a journey, to go from one place to another.

            (travelling)

( In pairs pupils solve the crossword puzzle)

2) So Travelling is the topic of our lesson. Today we are going to have an unusual lesson. We are going on holiday to the UK. But we can only bring a very small suitcase. In pairs let us write a list of essential items we would pack.

3) Now let’s discuss your lists. (teacher writes items on the board)

4) So we’ve packed our suitcase . Well done! But there is still one person who hasn’t packed his suitcase yet. Look at the screen please. I want you to watch a short extract of a British comedy television programme. While watching try to answer the questions:

    Who is that man?

    Where is he?

    What is he doing?

5) After watching.

Please, answer the questions.

Now I’d like to draw your attention to some words to make sure you understand their meanings, look at the blackboard please.

6)Now we are going to watch the sequence again and after that I want you to answer some more questions.

What things did he want to pack?

What things did he pack?

What problem did he have?

Did he solve his problem? What did he do?

7) So as we see Mr Bean hasn’t finished packing his suitcase yet. Now let’s try to predict what happens next in the scene. Discuss in pairs and write your predictions.

8) Let’s discuss your predictions.

9) Now let’s see if anyone predicted correctly and watch the rest of the scene. And after that we’ll find out whose story was the funniest.

10) The teacher gives students a home task- imagine where Mr. Bean travelled to and what he did there. Write a story about his trip.
