Каждый учитель согласится, что ни один учебник не предлагает в нужном количестве тренировочных упражнений по грамматике. Многие существующие грамматические сборники возможно использовать лишь на старшем этапе, когда ученики владеют достаточно хорошим запасом лексики. Так как употребление английских времен, постановка вопросов, использование косвенной речи и пассивный залог вызывают трудность у учащихся 5 класса, возникла необходимость в дополнительном материале. За годы работы в школе с углубленным изучением английского языка мной разработаны серии упражнений по различным разделам грамматики на базе лексики учебника для 5 класса под редакцией Л. Н. Верещагиной и О.В. Афанасьевой, грамматики Ю. Голицинского и лексики, изученной в3-4 классах .
