The Theme of the lesson: “Comparison of adjectives”.
The aims: 1.The revision of the grammar and lexical material by this theme.
2. To use the innovation technology in teaching English and to develop children’s
memory and thinking ability and interest in studying language.
3. To educate the sense of collectivism.
The type of the lesson: Summary and revision lesson.
The equipment: pictures, schemes, cards, curse-books, masks.
The methods: individual, pairs work.
The procedure of the lesson: 1. Organization moment:
- Who is on duty today?
- Who is absent?
- What day is it today?
- What is the home work?
2. Dear children, let’s begin our lesson with the rime that you have to learn by heart.
Good, better, best
Never, never rest
Till your good is better
And the better best.
3. Today lesson’s theme is “Comparison of adjectives”
4. We will talk about an adjective and its positive, comparative and superlative forms.
During the lesson we will work in the following way: I will be the owner of the bank. You will be my shareholders.
Some tasks have only 1 level and have one price.
Some tasks have 3 levels.
The first level isn’t so difficult – its price is 3$.
The second level is more difficult –its price is 4 $.
The third level is the most difficult –its price is 5 $.
After each tasks I will give you the next shares:
The yellow colour means 3$.
The green colour means 4$.
The red colour means 5$.
5. The first task of our lesson is “All about adjectives” this task is in 3 levels:
Level A: Write the kinds of adjectives in Kazakh.Level B: Name the forms of the “Comparison of adjectives” in Kazakh then write them in English

Level C: Read and make comparative and superlative forms.
6. The second task is “Comparative and Superlative forms” this task has 3 levels, too:
Open your books at pages 81-83 look at ex-s 2, 3, 4.
Level A: ex. 4 p 83
Level B: ex3 p 82
Level C: ex.2 p 81
Now let’s make a conclusion of this task make ex.5 p83 in your note-books.
7. The third Task is “Positive and negative adjectives”. It has 3 levels, either.
Level A: match the positive and negative adjectives from the poster.
Level B: make comparative and superlative forms of given adjectives.
Level C: Write as many as you remember words in you note-books.
For given noun “ city” , and for given adjective “popular”
8. The fourth task is consisting of two levels.
Level A: look at the picture at page 84 ex.7 and write.
Level B: make the dialogue using the information from ex 6 p 83.
9. A game “Find someone who ….” Take a card with a question and ask 2 or 3 your mates and say. Use the example at page 85.
10. And now some of your friends prepared a fairy-tale for you “The little Lion”
Watch it attentively and then say what adjectives have you heard.
A result of the lesson: 1. At the end of the lesson pupils count their shares
and the teacher writes their results and grades.
2. Home work: ex.11p.85, review the words at p.86
