Ход урока
1.Организационный момент
-Good day, children. I’m glad to see you. Take your seats. Who’s on duty? What date is it today? What day of the week is it today? Who is absent today? Thank you.
-Who can describe the weather today?
- Well.
-Today we have an interesting lesson. We’re going to talk about people’s lifestyles in this lesson. (Учитель демонстрирует сюжетные картинки, дающие пред-ставление о различных стилях жизни, и записывает слово lifestyle на доске.)
— What is a lifestyle?(Учащиеся высказывают свои предположения. Учитель помогает сформулировать значение слова: Lifestyle is the way a person or group of people live, including the place they live in, the things they have, the kind of job they do, and the activities they enjoy.)
2.Речевая разминка
- I would like you to look at the blackboard. Here you see a small poem.
Ah, the small town - the sleepy small town,
A place to love and hate, you know,
People dream one day to leave it,
But it will never let them go.
-Tell me, please, what is this poem about?
-Can it teach us anything?
-Do you think it’s important to love and remember your native town? Why? Why not?
-Good job.
