Pastimes. Hobbies.

A hobby is what you like to do in your spare time. If you have chosen a hobby according to your character and taste, you are lucky because your life becomes more interesting and exciting. Hobbies differ like tastes. The most popular hobbies are collecting stamps, post cards, coins and books. Some people are interested in music and others are keen on photography. Some people find pleasure working in their gardens. Gardening and growing flowers, especially roses, are the most common hobbies among Englishmen.

Both grown-ups and children are fond of playing different computer games.

It has become one of numerous hobbies. I have a hobby too. It is collecting books. Now I have about five hundred books. I prefer collecting books about animals, nature, adventure books, books on history and love stories. I like to sit at the table in the evening and to read different kinds of books. I learn a lot of interesting from books. They teach us to be kind, attentive to people, hardworking and brave. The world of books is full of wonders. Reading books you can find yourself in different lands and have a lot of adventures. Books help us to be true friends and teach us to understand the beauty of nature, take care of it and to love our homeland. My hobby isn’t wonderful but very useful too. I hope my hobby is connected with my future profession and will help me in my future life.
