Сценарий вечера для старшеклассников

по теме «The Beatles» на английском языке

Цель: приобщение к культуре страны изучаемого языка.

Задачи: Обучающая

  совершенствовать речевые компетенции аудирования  и говорения;

  Формировать навыки и умения иноязычного общения.

Развивающая

  Приучать к самостоятельному творческому поиску необходимой информации;

  Развивать мышление, память, воображение, внимание, речь;

  Раскрыть творческие способности;

  Расширить кругозор учащихся.

Образовательная

  Формировать целостное представление о мире музыки;

  Осуществить межкультурную коммуникацию;

  Способствовать усвоению и пониманию чужой речи к части культуры этих стран.

Воспитывающая

  Формировать взгляды и убеждения, общественную активность, нравственность, эстетическую культуру.

Ход вечера

1. Открытие вечера. Звучит музыка (песня «Let it be»).

Ведущий 1: Good afternoon, dear friends! We are happy to see you here. Today we’ve gathered together because we love The Beatles. Our parents grew up with their songs and still love this group. You see music is the greatest thing which connects people all over the world. It hasn’t nationality or citizenship. It’s a common human property.

2. Прослушивание рассказов ведущих о музыкальной группе Битлз.

Ведущий 2: The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960 by John Lennon. They managed to change pop music forever. Their songs seemed more musical and exciting than other ones.  The Beatles also looked nicer than anyone else.

Here is a photo of the band. You can see George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and John Lennon.

Ведущий 3: John Lennon was born in Liverpool in 1940. At school he was more interested in music than in other subjects. As a child he tried to write poems and draw illustrations to them. Unfortunately nobody paid attention to his talent. John wasn't a good student at his school and the teachers didn't like him because John wouldn't follow the strict rules.

In 1956 he met Paul McCartney who joined Lennon’s group. Here is on the photo.

Ведущий 4: The McCartney family loved music. His father often played the piano at home. Paul was keen on football, but music didn’t play an important part in his childhood. However, he learned to compose songs on his piano very quickly. When Paul took up the guitar, he forgot everything. He didn’t want to waste time even for dinner. He played everywhere even in the bathroom.

Ведущий 1: So the boys began to compose songs together. Their first professional concerts were in Hamburg (Germany). They played day and night and became an exciting band. Their best songs of that period were «Please Please Me», «Love Me Do». Their image was clean. The hair was short and they were well-dressed that even parents liked them.

But it was John Lennon who began to change their image. The Beatles grew beards and long hair and their music changed too.in 1966 John Lennon met a Japanese artist Yoko Ono.

Ведущий 2: Here they are. She wasn’t beautiful but he fell in love with her. He loved listening to her views on art. Yoko Ono brought something new to Lennon’s life. In 1968 John Lennon decided to leave the band, Paul McCartney also decided the partnership should come to an end. Lennon married Yoko Ono and then became a soloist. But in 1975 he stopped making records because of the problems with drugs and alcohol and separated from his wife. Some time later they joined again. Yoko Ono went to work and John Lennon looked after their son. They had a new positive phase in their lives but that came to its end. On the 8th of December 1980 John Lennon was shot outside his house. People all around the world felt a terrible loss.

Ведущий 3: George Harrison was born in 1943, in a big and friendly family. George was the youngest in the family. He helped old people and took care of animals. During his childhood he wasn't interested in music, later his mother bought a guitar for her son and learned to play the guitar. One day on his way to the Institute George met Paul McCartney on the bus. They became friends and had the same interests. Harrison played the guitar better than Paul and was invited to the group, becoming the leading guitarist

Ведущий 4: Ringo Starr was born in 1940. His father worked as a baker and mother was a waitress in a bar. Little Richard had to stay alone or at their neighbour’s because his parents worked hard. Richard was very sociable as a result. He was a very weak boy and often missed classes at school. He couldn’t read even at the age of 8, though his mother tried her best to help her son.

Ведущий 1: He was invited to join the group in summer 1962. He was paid 25 pounds a week.

Thus, the group was formed. Their best and the most popular song is “Yesterday”. What is the origin of this song? Every morning Paul sat at the piano and played his own music. The melody of “Yesterday” appeared one morning while Paul was cooking breakfast. But at first he couldn’t think of words. The words came after several days and they were charming. Ведущий 2: The band's breakup was announced in April 1970, a month before Let It Be was released. Documents filed on December 31, 1970 officially ended the legal entity known as The Beatles. After the Beatles broke up, each of the band members followed separate creative paths. Paul McCartney formed a band called Wings with his wife, Linda; they recorded numerous hit songs, including "Live and Let Die". John Lennon achieved great success as a solo artist, with classic songs like "Imagine." George Harrison recorded many solo albums over the years, and died in 2001.

4. Игра «A  FAMOUS  MAN».

Учащимся по очереди  прикрепляют на спину листок с именем одного из группы Битлз. Он пытается узнать, кто он, задавая вопросы ребятам на английском языке.

5. Рефлексия. Окончание вечера. Исполнение песен.

Ведущий 3: Our party has finished. We hope you’ve had a wonderful time with legendary English group “The Beatles” and of course you’ve learned a lot of new information about them.
