Конспект урока английского языка в 6а классе (УМК Rainbow English-6)

Тема урока: Clothes

1. Организационный момент.

-Hello, everybody! Glad to see you. You are quite well, aren`t you? Children, today some guests are in our lesson. Let`s try to overcome nervousness. We need a little bit of help to look confident. So,

-take a deep breath,

-hold your back straight, -

-lift your chin slightly.

Smile, I believe you`ll like our today`s lesson.

2. Озвучивание темы урока. Постановка цели и мотивация.

-Well, children, I want you to watch a funny video and think what the topic of our lesson is.

-Right you are. Today we are going to talk about clothes. Let`s start our lesson.

3. Актуализация изученного материала.

Look at the pictures. Say what the difference between these persons are. (Their clothes). Right. What can you say about their clothes? Begin your answers with The first person is wearing …. (old-fashioned clothes). Do you like the way they wear?

Let`s remember the words that we`ve already known. Open your books on page 71, ex. 2

4.Новая тема. Good. Today we`ll learn some new words on our theme “Clothes”. Open your textbooks on page 72 and find ex. 3. Let`s try to match them with the pictures. (How do you say JACKET in Russian/in English?)

Do you wear warm scarves in winter?

Are shorts for winter?

Do people wear sandals in cold weather?

Do you like sleeping in pajamas?

Are leggings for boys?

Do you wear warm sweater in summer?

Do boys and girls like to wear jeans?

5. I see you are tired. Let`s relax. Watch the video and play the game “Move and freeze”

6.  Listen to me and say who are wearing these clothes.

1-Laura is wearing jeans and a pink shirt, also is wearing a brown belt.

2-Tammy is wearing black shoes, a green blouse and grey jeans.

8-Susan is wearing dark blue leggins, blue boots, green blouse  and pink skirt.

5-Lucy is wearing black jacket, and a light blue skirt.

4-Paul is wearing brown boots, blue jeans and a green t’shirt.

7-Kate is wearing black shoes, two blouses, one green and the other one is blue, and grey pants.

6-Mark is wearing brown shoes, black belt, blue jeans and a red t’shirt.

3-Fred is wearing black shoes, a dark blue jacket, green pants

7. Let`s dress for the season these little men. (Раздать листы с человечками).

8. So, children, let`s sum up our work. Today we talked about different clothes. Please express your emotion. But the say clothes do not make the man. This proverb has Russian equivalent. Try to translate. What does it mean? The main thing is not clothes, the main point is what kind of person you are. Do you agree with me?
