I’m going to give a talk about a healthy lifestyle.

To begin with, I would like to say that a healthy lifestyle is more popular nowadays because everybody wants to live a long and healthy life. People want to look slim.

As for me, I try to keep fit and follow a healthy lifestyle too. First of all, I do my morning exercises and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables every day. Besides, I prefer cycling because it’s my favorite kind of sport. I've been cycling for six years. In winter I ski and skate. I enjoy it a lot. Moreover, we have PE classes three times a week. We play basketball, football, we run a lot. I also stay away from bad habits, because I’m sure that smoking and drinking alcohol destroy our body and brains.

As for teenagers in my region, they are keen on playing basketball, football and volleyball. A lot of young men become interested in karate  [kəˈrɑːti], boxing, judo [ˈdʒu:dəu] and so on.

In conclusion, I want to say that sport is a very important part of our life. It makes us healthier.

2. YOUR SCHOOL

I’m going to give a talk about my school.

I would like to say that school is one of the most important parts of our lives because we get knowledge which will help us in our future.

I am finishing the 9th form and I’m going to continue my studying in the 10th form because I like my school. It is old and not very big. There are about four hundred pupils. It has a lot a lot of facilities such as a library, a computer room, a canteen, lots of classrooms. Most of all I like a gym because I am fond of doing sports.  

As for weekdays, I find Monday the most difficult one because we have eight lessons, including Maths and Physics. Frankly speaking, I don’t enjoy these lessons very much and Monday is the first day after a weekend. I am very tired on Monday.

In my opinion, a lot of things should be changed in my school. But the most important thing for me is the menu in our school canteen. The food isn’t tasty there I think.

In conclusion I want to say that my school is the best in my town.

3. THE PLACE WHERE YOU LIVE

I am going to give a talk about my native town.

To begin with, I’d like to say that I live in Barysh. It’s the place where I have been living since my birth. Barysh is a small town in Ulyanovsky region. As far as I know, there are about 16 thousand people in it. It was founded in 1954. At present, it’s 64 years old. By the way, our town is famous for its picturesque places. Our town is green. I mean it is surrounded by the forests.

As for me, I like my town very much, because there are a lot of places where we can spend our free time. We have got a cinema, cafes, skating rinks and a sports centre. As for my favourite place is a cinema which is very popular among teens.  

After leaving school I am not going to stay in Barysh because it hasn’t got any higher educational oppurtunities. I am going to leave it for Samara\Moscow to get a higher education.

In conclusion I want to say that Barysh is a lovely place.

4. FOREIGN LANGUAGES

I’m going to give a talk about foreign languages.

Learning a foreign language is not easy, it takes much time and effort. People learn foreign languages for different reasons. Nowadays more and more people travel around the world. So, it’s necessary to learn foreign languages to communicate with other people, to understand them and to be understood. Besides, knowledge of foreign languages can help to find a well-paid job and gives an opportunity to study abroad. Some people learn foreign languages just for a hobby because it improves memory and broaden their minds.

As for me, I have been learning English for 8 years. And this year I have chosen to do the English exam. I am interested in English and I realize that it will help me in the future. I’d like to be a translator.

Of course, I prepared for my English exam. I learned a lot of new words, read English books to enrich my vocabulary, listened to different English texts to improve my listening skills.

All in all, I can say that learning languages play an important role in our life.

I am going to give a talk about pets.

To begin with, I’d like to say that nowadays more and more people keep pets at home (cats, dogs, parrots, hamsters, guinea pigs, and so on.) There are different reasons why people have pets. I believe that most people keep animals because they make their lives happier. They say pets give people positive emotions and can cure different diseases. Besides, some people need friends, they hate being alone. So, pets help them not to feel lonely, they spend their free time taking care of them.

In my opinion, cats, dogs and parrots are the most popular pets in big cities. Firstly, they don’t need much food and space. Secondly, most children are fond of these pets.  

Anyway, to have pets is a big responsibility. If you don’t take care of them properly, they may fall sick and even die. People should always remember to feed pets in time, walk out and love them.

In conclusion, I can say that pets play an important part in our life.

It is an important part of our life and we can’t imagine our life without the Internet. Today’s teenagers use the Internet so much because it is a source of information and entertainment. They send e-mails, download music and films. Besides, they can communicate with each other. They create their profiles on different social nets such as facebook, instagram and others. Of course, the Internet helps students in their studies too.

I think, the Internet makes long-distance communication easier. Thanks to special programmes for communication, for example Skype, people can chat with relatives or friends who live far away or abroad.

Unfortunately, teenagers can face some dangers when they use the Internet. There are some criminals who can get your private information and use it in criminal aims. Secondly, some teenagers get addicted to the Internet because they spend all their free time playing computer games. Moreover, the Internet spoils their eyes.

In conclusion I’d like to say that the Internet has both advantages and disadvantages that’s why people should use it wisely.

7. HOLIDAYS

I am going to give a talk about holidays.

To begin with, holidays play an important part in our life. Holidays give us an opportunity to rest and relax. They also improve our mood and make us happier.

The most popular holidays in our country are New Year, the women’s day, Victory Day and others. All these holidays are very important for every citizen of Russia.

As for me, my favourite holiday is New Year because this is a special occasion. By the way, we get two weeks of vacations. I can sit at home all day and watch my favorite TV programs. I celebrate this holiday at home with my family. At midnight we set up fireworks.

To tell you the truth, I like both giving presents and getting them. Both actions are very enjoying. But honestly speaking, I like getting presents more because now I don’t have enough money for giving them.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that every holiday is a great time, and I wish there were as many holidays as possible. They unite people together.

Of course, the Internet helps students in their studies too. They often use it to do their homework, to make a project or a presentation. They can find any information in any time and they don’t have to go to a library. Besides, it gives online education opportunities. There are a lot of educational programmes that can be useful for students.

Unfortunately, we can face some dangers when we use the Internet. There are some criminals who can get our private information and use it in criminal aims. 9. MY SUMMER HOLIDAYS

I am going to give a talk about my summer holidays.  

I usually spend them at home, but sometimes my family and I go to the seaside or to the country.

I spend my holidays with my family (mum, dad, my brother…) and my friends. We like staying together and having fun.

When I stay at home for the summer, I usually hang out with my friends. We take long walks, take pictures of ourselves, visit each other, watch films and play computer games. Besides, I like cycling because it’s my favorite kind of sport.  I should say, I've been cycling for six years.  

When I go to the seaside with my family, I go to the beach every day, sit on the sand and look at the sea. Moreover I swim a lot and lie in the sun.  

But most of all I like going to the country to help my grandparents, pick up berries and mushrooms in the forest. My grandpa likes going fishing and we always fish by the river together.

In conclusion I’d like to say that I like my summer holidays because they are the longest and the most exciting of all.

10. MY HOBBIES.

I am going to give a talk about my hobbies.  

To begin with, I study at school and I don’t have much free time. But I still have some things I like doing, for example, reading books, watching films on the Internet, drawing and learning English. Moreover, I like cycling in summer. It’s my favourite kind of sport, I should say.

To tell you the truth, I am crazy about learning English. I try to read English books, to watch English films and to listen to English songs. It’s very interesting for me and it will help me in my future profession. I’d like to be an interpreter.

My hobby helps me to improve my knowledge in English, to improve my reading skills, listening skills. I learn a lot of new words from books and films.

In conclusion I should say that my hobby is very useful. I hope my dream will come true.

11. MUSIC IN MY LIFE.

      I’m going to give a talk about music in my life.

     I’m a teenager and I can’t imagine my life without music. I listen to music while I have breakfast and it makes my day. I also listen to the songs on my player on my way to and from school and even during the breaks.

     I like listening to different music genres, such as pop, rock and dance music. My choice of music depends on my mood: when I’m happy I prefer pop or dance music, when I’m sad I listen to rock or rap. Besides, I sometimes listen to classical music, when I need to concentrate on something. More often I listen to different English songs. It’s my hobby I should say.

     I live in a small town and we don’t have many concerts. Some famous pop singers come to our town very rarely and, to tell you the truth, I haven’t been to a big concert yet. I watch concerts of my favourite singers on TV from time to time.

     In conclusion I should say that music plays an important role in our life.

12. MY SHOPPING HABITS.

     I’m going to give a talk about my shopping habits.

     We used to have a lot of small shops some years ago, but there are a lot of supermarkets now. I should say that my favourite shopping places are big supermarkets and department stores because I can walk freely from one department to the other and take goods in my hands. Besides, I don’t have to stand in a queue for a long time.  

     I like shopping for clothes and something tasty. I usually buy trousers, blouses and suits. As for some tasty things, I like to buy sweets, boxes of chocolate, nuts.  

     I prefer going shopping with my mum, because she has good taste in clothes and she can give me some useful advice. Besides she pays for everything. I sometimes go shopping with my best friend.

     In conclusion I should say that teenagers usually have the same shopping habits as their parents because we go to the same shops.

13. MY RELATIONSHIP WITH FRIENDS.

To begin with, I must say that friends are very important in our life. It’s difficult to live without them.

As for me, I have a lot of friends not only at school. We like going to the cinema all year round. In winter we usually go to the skating rink or we go skiing in the forest. In summer we ride our bikes. To tell you the truth, it’s my favourite kind of sport. I’ve been cycling for 6 years. We also go for a walk almost every day.

     Friends usually have some common interests. My friends and I share the same opinion about books, films, computer games and sport events.

     Of course, every teenager has some problems in his or her life. My friends are always there with me. They are ready to support me when I have problems with my parents or at school. We even do some difficult school tasks together.

     In conclusion I should say that my friends are the best ones and I’m never alone.

14. TV IN MY LIFE.

    To begin with, I should say that TV plays an important part in our life.

     As for me, I study at school and I have a lot of school tasks. That’s why I almost don’t watch TV. But I think there are many interesting programmes for people of different age on TV. For example, my grandma likes watching TV shows about cooking, my dad likes watching sports programmes and my mum is fond of educational programmes.

     So, TV can be both entertaining and educational. It depends on a person who watches it. I like watching programmes in English in my free time. They help me to improve my English. It’s very important for me because I’d like to be an interpreter.

     But, I think, I can easily do without TV, because there is a lot of useful information and educational videos on the Internet.

     In conclusion I want to say that watching TV can be good for education and having fun.

15. ABOUT TRAVELLING.

To begin with, travelling is necessary for people because it helps relax, see something new and escape from daily routine.

As for my family, we travel a lot, because it’s very interesting and exciting for us. We go to the south every year when my parents have vacation. Moreover I and my mum travel during my holidays. We have already visited lots of different cities such as Volgograd, St. Petersburg, ……..

I like going to new places, as I see something new for me and meet new people there. We usually take a lot of funny pictures. What I hate about travelling is packing my things.  

I had the most exciting trip to St. Petersburg last year. We went there by train. It was funny because I travelled together with my classmates. We lived in a hotel, ate tasty things there, did the city and went shopping for souvenirs. I was fascinated by the city.

In conclusion I should say that it’s always good to change places for some time.

16. ABOUT MY DAILY LIFE.

 I’m going to give a talk about my daily life.

     To begin with, I’m in the 9th form now and I have a lot of school subjects. Besides, we have some elective courses where we are getting ready for the exams. So, I leave home at half past seven and come back at about four/five o’clock every day. At the weekend I usually do my school tasks.

Of course, I have to do some chores at home. I help my mum to wash up, empty the bin and wash the floor. Sometimes I vacuum the carpets in our flat.

To tell you the truth, I don’t have much free time. But I still have some things I like doing, for example, reading books, watching films on the Internet, drawing and learning English. Moreover, I like cycling in summer. It’s my favourite kind of sport, I should say.

To tell you the truth, I am crazy about learning English. I try to read English books, to watch English films and to listen to English songs. It’s very interesting for me and it will help me in my future profession. I’d like to be an interpreter.

Travelling is a good way to broaden people’s mind. If people go to a foreign country, they can learn its customs and traditions, see the sights, make friends with local citizens.

In my opinion, summer is the best season for travelling because there are many different offerings and discounts in this time of the year. Most adults have vacations and children have holidays. But it’s only my point of view.  

As for means of transport, I suppose that cars are the most convenient because you can stop everywhere you wish and spend as much time as you like. It gives you a chance to enjoy the nature and you don’t have to buy tickets beforehand.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that travelling plays an important part in our life and everybody should travel as much as possible.

I’m going to talk about my career plans, about my job in the future.

To begin with, I’d like to say that almost all young people today consider making a successful career as the main goal in life. I should add it’s not easy to choose a profession out of thousands.

As for me, I’d like to become a translator. I’m sure it is one of the most prestigious and needed professions. Moreover it is creative and well-paid of course.

I think that English and Literature are the most important subjects for my future job because they can help develop my speaking skills in English and in Russian and broaden my mind. Of course I have to work a lot.

My parents agree with my opinion, they like the job I want to do in the future.    

In conclusion, I want to say that future job is very important and we should think about it seriously before making any decisions.

I’m going to give a talk about my school.

I would like to say that school is one of the most important parts of our lives because we get knowledge which will help us in our future. I am finishing the 9th form and I’m going to continue my studying in the 10th form because I like my school.

As for my typical school day, I should say it is very busy. It usually starts at 8.30 in the morning and comes to an end at 3 or 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Every day we have 7 or 8 classes. We do a lot of work at our classes: learn rules, do exercises and tests, write essays,  and so on. Besides, I have to visit some optional courses to prepare for my future exams.

My favourite subjects are English and Literature.  I’d like to be a translator and that’s why they are the most important subjects for my future job because they can help develop my speaking skills in English and in Russian and broaden my mind. Of course I have to work a lot.

I like a lot in my school but most of all I like my classmates. We are all good friends and get on well with each other.

In conclusion, I’d like to add that school education is very important for us. It helps us build our character and develop our mind. That’s all I wanted to say. Thank you for listening.

21. YOUR SCHOOL HOMEWORK.

I’m going to give a talk about school homework.

While studying at school children have to do their homework. I think homework is boring but is necessary to do because we should know rules, practice our oral and written skills. Pupils have different types of homework: to write a composition, to learn a poem, to copy exercises and so on. As for me, it takes me 3-or 4 hours to do my homework.

Firstly, I start doing my lessons with the most difficult subjects such as Russian, English and Maths. Then I do Literature. At the beginning when I’m not tired, I do lessons more quickly. I should say these subjects are very important for me. I have to learn them properly to prepare for my future exams.

I think, schoolchildren should be given less homework. Doing homework takes much time and children don’t have enough free time for their hobbies. They are very tired of their homework. As a result, they have some problems with their health.

In conclusion, I should say studying is not easy. If you want to have excellent results you should do the lessons systematically. That’s all I wanted to say. Thank you for listening.

23. TV.

I’m going to give a talk about TV in my life.

To begin with, I should say that TV plays an important part in our life. It is impossible to imagine our life without TV because it is a source of information and entertainment.

But I think television is not a popular pastime with teenagers nowadays. Most of them have computers with an internet access. That’s why if they want to watch some shows or movies, they use their computers.

As for me, I study at school and I have a lot of school tasks. That’s why I almost don’t watch TV. But I think there are many interesting programmes for people of different age on TV. And if I have free time I like watching programmes in English. They help me to improve my English. It’s very important for me because I’d like to be an interpreter.

To tell you the truth, TV has a lot of disadvantages. It is not safe for our health. It can spoil our eyes. Then, TV makes people lazy. Moreover, there is much violence and aggression on TV.

In conclusion I want to say that watching TV is a good pastime but we should control our spending in front of TV.

To begin with, I’d like to say that there are four seasons in a year but every season has advantages and disadvantages.

As for me, my favorite season is summer because I can have a rest. We have the longest holidays and that’s why I can do what I want. The weather is sunny and warm. Moreover, I like to travel in summer.

As for the Earth’s climate, I think it has changed a lot. They say the climate has become warmer. Firstly, summer is hotter nowadays than it was some years ago. Secondly, we don’t have such cold winters as before people had. So, weather has become very changeable. Technological progress improves our life, but causes environmental problems.

To tell you the truth, I don’t trust the weather forecast because they rarely come true.

In conclusion, I should say that the weather has become unpredictable but there is no bad weather or a bad season.

The most popular holidays in our country are New Year, the women’s day, Victory Day and others. I think the most popular of them is the New Year’s Day because people have a week of holidays and can spend a good time with their families and friends. As for children they like winter and New Year’s presents.  

As for me, my favourite public holiday is Women’s Day because it’s the first spring holiday and there are lots of flowers and smiles this day.

We always celebrate Women’s Day. At school we prepare a concert for our teachers.   Every class has a party where boys congratulate girls.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that every holiday is a great time, and I wish there were as many holidays as possible. They unite people together.

To begin with, I’d like to say that taking pictures is very popular nowadays.  People like taking pictures because it helps them to keep happy moments in their memory.

In my opinion, taking photos is more popular today than it was in the past because digital cameras have become cheaper and more people can buy them. More than that, taking photos has become much easier today because our mobile phones have cameras. They give us an opportunity to take photos everywhere and at any time. It has also become easier to share photos with friends in different social networking sites.

As for me, I like taking photos too. Frankly speaking, I have many good photos, but the best one was taken last year in Sochi. My parents and I visited it. When I look at the photo, I admire wonderful landscapes and remember a great time we had there.

In conclusion, I think that taking photos is a good hobby.

I’d like to give a talk about school uniform. 

Nowadays some schools have free style uniform while at other schools student wear school uniform.

I think it is important to wear school uniform because it makes a school atmosphere and help to study hard. Besides, it helps to solve some problems connected with bullying |ˈbʊlɪŋ| and discipline |ˈdɪsɪplɪn|.

As for my school, students have to wear school uniform. It consists of black trousers, a white shirt and a grey waistcoat |ˈweɪs(t)kəʊt| for boys. As for girls, they have to wear a white blouse and a grey or black skirt. I think it is comfortable because I don’t have such problems as what clothes to wear at school.

I like a gym most of all at my school because I am fond of doing sports. We often play basketball, football, volleyball there. To go in for sport we have to wear a sport uniform.

In conclusion, school uniform plays an important part in school life and children should wear it.

I think, people can improve their language skills by reading English books in the original, watching English films, listening to English songs, having a pen pal from abroad or living in a foreign country.

As for me, I would like to learn English in a proper way. I am interested in English and I realize that it will help me in my future. I’d like to be a translator. Besides, I like travelling and one day I’d like to visit London and I want to understand the English and to be understood.

   To begin with, I should say that TV plays an important part in our life.

    I think people spend time watching TV because there are many interesting programmes for people of different ages on TV. For example, my grandma likes watching TV shows about cooking, my dad likes watching sports programmes and my mum is fond of educational programmes.

    But most teenagers prefer browsing the Internet, I believe. It is a source of information and entertainment. They send e-mails, download music and films. Besides, they can communicate with each other. They create their profiles on different social nets such as facebook, instagram and others. Of course, the Internet helps students in their studies too.

    As for me, I like watching programmes in English in my free time. For example “The Voice” or “Travel man”. Such programmes help me improve my English. It’s very important for me because I’d like to be an interpreter.

To tell you the truth, I don’t understand them because I am fond of reading. My favourite kinds of books are fantastic books and detectives. I find them exciting because they have interesting plots. So, when I have some free time I read. Besides, I like to read books in English.

I read books either for pleasure or for my studies. I read a lot for my Literature lessons because this subject is very important for me and my future profession.

As for me, I am not a sports fan but I go in for sport by myself. I prefer cycling because it’s my favorite kind of sport. I've been cycling for six years. In winter I ski and skate. I enjoy it a lot. Moreover, we have PE classes three times a week. I play basketball, football, I run a lot.

As you can see, I try to lead an active style of life.

It helps me keep fit, I feel vigorous and spirited throughout the day. It also helps my mind stay healthier.

That’s why I am going to concentrate on English and Literature. They are the most important subjects for my future job because they can help develop my speaking skills in English and in Russian and broaden my mind. Of course I have to work a lot and I am going to attend special courses in Maths, Russian, Literature and English.

I would like to say that school is one of the most important parts of our lives because we get knowledge which will help us in our future. I am finishing the 9th form and I’m going to continue my studying in the 10th form because I like my school.

As for my school life, I think it’s interesting and joyful. I like to find out much new information. Moreover, our class is very friendly and we often go to the cinema or tourist trips together.

My favourite subjects are English and Literature and I often take part in different competitions concerning these subjects. Besides, I am keen on sport and I often take part in running or skiing competitions. They are entertaining.

Frankly speaking, we have got a lot of school events, but most of all I like and remember our school parties devoted to different holidays, such as Women’s Day, St. Valentines’ Day and many others. They are always funny and we have a good time there.

To begin with, I’d like to say that there are four seasons in a year and every season has its beauty.

As for my region, I think that the best season here is summer. Everything is green. It’s warm or hot. It’s sunny. It’s a good time for having a rest. I like to swim and lie in the sun in such weather. Frankly speaking, it’s my favorite season.      

 I don’t agree with the proverb “There is no bad weather, there are only bad clothes”. I think that people who say that don’t live in Russia. In our country the weather might be extreme sometimes and clothes can’t help. It is difficult to make me leave my home when it’s less than minus 25 degrees outside.

So, if it is nasty and cold it’s not a problem for me because I have a lot of interests. I like drawing, listening to music, reading books, surfing the Internet, watching films on TV.

I’m going to give a talk about books. 

To begin with, I’d like to say that books are very important in people’s life.

As far as I know, modern teenagers enjoy reading fantasy novels because they find them thrilling. When they read this kind of books, they lose touch with reality and immerse into a magic world of dragons, witches and etc. My friends read such kinds of books. And, to tell you the truth, most teenagers don’t like reading at all. They prefer spending their free time surfing the Net.

But I don’t understand them because I am fond of reading. I often go to the libraries and I consider them necessary. Of course, we can find any book in the Internet, we can download and read it but I think it’s bad for our eyes.

 I have read “Oliver Twist” by Charles Dickens recently. It was about an orphan who was born in the London’s slums. The main character fell into a den of thieves, but was finally rescued by a wealthy benefactor.

I believe that everybody needs friends. Life is boring without them.

We need friends to comfort us when we are sad. A friend is a person who will never leave you alone with all your problems, cheer you up, give you a good piece of advice and always help you. Also, friends usually share our interests and we spend our free time with our friends.

It seems that I have known my best friend for ages. I remember the day a saw her in our school. She was our newcomer. I wanted to make her first days in our class more comfortable. Since that day we are the best friends. My friend is open and sociable.

We’ve got a lot of common interests. Firstly, we’re interested in sport and often ride our bikes together. Secondly, we both paint and draw well and love spending time drawing.  We also enjoy going to the cinema.

I think that’s all what I wanted to tell you about my best friend.

42. YOUR SCHOOL.

I would like to say that school is one of the most important parts of our lives because we get knowledge which will help us in our future.

I should say that I like my school. It has a lot a lot of facilities such as a library, a computer room, a canteen, lots of classrooms. I like a gym because I am fond of doing sports.  To tell you the truth, I like a lot in my school but most of all I like my classmates. We are all good friends and get on well with each other.

Every day we have 7 or 8 classes. We do a lot of work at our classes: learn rules, do exercises and tests, write essays, and so on. Besides, I have to visit some optional courses to prepare for my future exams.

As for me, this year I have chosen to do the English exam and the Literature one. I am interested in these subjects because they will help me in the future. I’d like to be a translator. Of course, I have to work a lot.

I’m going to talk about travelling.

To begin with, modern people travel so much because it helps relax, see something new and escape from daily routine. Besides, it gives them an opportunity to meet new people. Travelling is a good way to broaden people’s mind. If people go to a foreign country, they can learn its customs and traditions.

In my opinion, most tourists like taking pictures while travelling to remember happy moments. Besides, they like to buy souvenirs, go sightseeing and learn about customs and traditions of other countries.  

As for my region, there are a lot of beautiful places here. But my favourite place is Lenin Memorial. It is a complex of several buildings. It includes the Memorial Museum of V.I. Lenin, V. Lenin’s House Museum, the House Where Lenin was Born, the Ulyanovs’ Apartment-Museum. This is the largest of all the expositions existing in Russia. So, I would recommend tourists to visit it.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that travelling plays an important part in our life and everybody should travel as much as possible.

To begin with, I should say that there are a lot of different kinds of films, but talking about modern teenagers, I think they enjoy watching detectives, adventure films and thrillers. I think so because I and my friends watch them very often. We watch them for pleasure and they help us have a rest from our busy school life.

We can watch films on TV, on the Internet or in the cinema. As for me, I prefer to use the Internet for watching my favourite films. It’s more comfortable for me. I don’t need to go out or to buy tickets beforehand. Besides, it’s much cheaper than going to the cinema. Moreover, I can watch a film any time I like. So, there are a lot of advantages of seeing films in the Internet at home.

As for the film I’ve seen recently it was Star Wars. It was the latest part. It is a personal story of one of the main heroes. As all other episodes this one is about fight between good and bad characters.

I think that after finishing the 9th form there are not many job opportunities. May be it is possible to become a waiter or a messenger. But there are a lot of education opportunities. So, young people can enter different colleges to get a profession or they can continue studying at school and get a higher education later.  

As for me, I’d like to become a translator. I’m sure it is one of the most prestigious and needed professions. Moreover it is creative and well-paid of course.

The advice my parents have given me is to do what I love doing. So, they agree with my career choice, they like the job I want to do in the future.

I’m sure it’s easier to travel nowadays than centuries ago. Two centuries ago any journey took us a lot of time. For example, a trip from Moscow to Petersburg lasted several days. Today there are many different means of transport, such us planes, trains and cars. They help us to get there faster.

As for me, I like travelling too. I would like to visit Great Britain and its capital, London, to practice my English and see famous landmarks. (such as Big Ben, Tower Bridge, The Tower of London).

Some people learn foreign languages just for a hobby because it improves memory and broaden their minds.

As for me, I have been learning English for 8 years.  I learn a lot of new words, read English books to enrich my vocabulary, listen to different English texts to improve my listening skills.

As for me, I would like to learn French.  To tell you the truth, I like travelling and one day I’d like to visit France and its capital. So, I want to understand French people and to be understood.

Of course, the Internet helps students in their studies too. It’s possible to find an online course, for example. Students can find any book to read or some necessary information to make a report.   The Internet is very useful for people who learn foreign languages. It gives a chance to listen to native speakers and even talk to them.

Unfortunately, teenagers can face some dangers when they use the Internet. There are some criminals who can get your private information and use it in criminal aims. Secondly, some teenagers get addicted to the Internet because they spend all their free time playing computer games. Moreover, surfing the Internet for a long time teens can spoil their eyes.
