L ife of budgies They live in Australia .Prefer open places with shrubs, woodlands, meadows and the obligatory presence of water. They migrate depending on the availability of food and water. They live in large flocks. The main activity begins after sunrise, but at noon or in extreme heat prefer to take shelter in the shade. In the evening they return to the place where they spend the night. Life expectancy in nature is 3-6 years.
