He was an English poet, a Philosopher and a critic. Also, a succesfull member of “lake poets” (it was a group of English poets and romanticism)
Samuel was the youngest of ten children his father. He was born in Devonshire, Britain in 21th October, 1772. When he was 9 he went to London at the Christ’s Hospitals school. In 1791 He went to the Cambridge where he studied classic literature, but he fired university, because he was a republican.
In 1795 Samuel went to Bristol and married one of Friker`s sisters. He became a romantic and his latter told us that he had difficult family problems, he was a poorness and ill, so he started to take an opium. In 1797 His family and he moved in the village. He dead in Highgate , London on 25 th July, 1834.
All his ballads have fantastic character and his poetry imbued ( проникнута) a melancholy and a serious attitude to nature . Coleridge introduced a new method of studying Shakespeare
