Characters: Story-teller, Little Red Hen, Duck, Cat, Dog.
Story-teller: One day the Little Red Hen was scratching in the farm-yard when she found grain of wheat.
Little Red Hen: Who will plant the wheat?
Cat: Not I.
Dog: Not I.
Little Red Hen: Very well then, I will.
Story-teller: So she planted the grain of wheat. After some time the wheat grew tail and ripe.
Little Red Hen: Who will cut the wheat?
Duck: Not I.
Cat: Not I.
Dog: Not I.
Little Red Hen: Very well the, I will.
Story-teller: So she threshed the wheat.
Little Red Hen: Who will take the wheat to the mill to have it ground into floor?
Duck: Not I.
Cat: Not I.
Dog: Not I.
Little Red Hen: Very well then, I will.
Story-teller: So she took the wheat to the mill. The wheat was ground into floor.
Little Red Hen: Who will make this flour into bread.
Duck: Not I.
Cat: Not I.
Dog: Not I.
Little Red Hen: Very well then, I will.
Story-teller: And she baked a lovely loaf of Bread.
Little Red Hen: Who will eat this bread.
Duck: Oh, I will.
Cat: Oh, I will.
Dog: Oh, I will.
Little Red Hen: Oh, no, you won`t, I will.
Story-teller: And she called her chicks and shared the bread with them.
