“Merry Christmas”

5-7 класс

Merry Christmas

ЦЕЛИ УРОКА:

    1.Расширение знаний и представлений учащихся об окружающем мире, о странах изучаемого языка, повышение интереса учащихся к предмету.

    2.Развитие речевой культуры школьников и формирование готовности воспринимать культуру другого народа.

    3.Активизация у учащихся творческих способностей при подготовке и проведении урока.

    4.Воспитание доброты и милосердия к людям, привычки внимательно слушать речь других людей.

ОБОРУДОВАНИЕ: мультимедийный проектор, компьютер, презентация костюм Санта Клауса, ёлка, игрушки, гирлянды, композиции со свечами, веночки, праздничные открытки, карточки для игр.

ХОД ПРАЗДНИКА:

    В игре принимают участие две команды по 5-6 человек, учащиеся придумывают

название своим командам и выбирают капитанов.

TEACHER: Dear guests! We are happy to see you today! We are going to celebrate Christmas and we hope you’ll enjoy our English party. So you see two teams. Their names are “Snowball”, “Snowflake”.

(Слышен звон колоколов и мелодия песни «Аве Мария». Презентация “MERRY CHRISTMAS” на экране. В класс входят ангелы.)

ANGEL 1: Christmas. A moment of magic in all our lives. It’s a special time when we wish you and your families love, health and happiness. And lasting peace throughout the world.

ANGEL 2: Christians celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December because of the birth of  Jesus Christ. As you know, Christmas is a religious holiday. Families come together to share their happiness, attend church and exchange gifts.

ANGEL 1: Christmas tree is a symbol of this holiday. The Americans choose a tree and decorate it with ornaments and lights. Have a look at our Christmas tree!

ANGEL 2: It’s wonderful, isn’t it? You can see a lot of toys on it, the lights are different: yellow, red, green. On the top of the Christmas tree you can see an angel. Oh, Christmas is here.

                 ANGEL 1: Christmas is here.

                 ANGEL 2: Christmas is here.

                 ANGEL 1: Merry Christmas, Mother!

                 ANGEL 2: Merry Christmas, Father!

                           We wish you Merry Christmas!

                                    We wish you Merry Christmas!

                                            And a Happy New Year!

TEACHER: Thank you very much. Angels, sit with us and play. But where is Santa Claus?

Let’s send him an invitation. To send him telegrammes we must have telegraphists. I need two persons from each teaм.

    В конкурсе принимают участие по 2 ученика от каждой команды. Один телеграфист, получив записку с текстом телеграммы, передаёт по буквам её содержание второму, записывающему на доске (листе бумаги). Содержание телеграммы прочитывает команда.

             COME TODAY. WE LOVE YOU.

             WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU.

Раздаётся звон колокольчиков и голос:

   - May I come in?

TEACHER: Oh, this is Santa Claus.

SANTA CLAUS: Ho! Ho! Ho! Hello! Merry Christmas!

              I’m Santa Claus, ho, ho,

              Here I come jumping

                 over the snow,

              Shaking my bells

                 with a merry din-

              So open your doors

                 and let me in!

 I’ve got presents for you, but at first, let’s play our game. I want to see what team is the best.

TASK 1

Do you know any poems about Christmas or winter?

         - Yes, of course.

   1. Winter! Winter! Winter!                         2. Look at all the snow

       The snow is falling,                                     Falling gently down,

       The wind is blowing,                                   Falling on the houses

       The ground is white                                     All around the town..

       All and all night.                                          Listen to the wind

                                                                            Blowing all the snow,

                                                                            Blowing round the houses

                                                                            All down the row.

  3. When windows are frosty                        4. Come to the garden

      And ice in places                                          And play in the snow,

      I like to write letters                                     Make a white snowman

     And draw funny faces,                                  And help him to grow.

     How ever green your branchers!                                        New things to meet,

     You never change the whole year round,                           New songs to sing,

     You brighten up the snowy ground.                                   New books to read.

       How ever green your branchers!                                      New things to hear.

                                                                                                 In this Glad Year!

7. The windows are blue at night.
But in the morning they are white.
And snowflakes are falling
Come out they are calling.

8. It’s winter, it’s winter,
Let us skate and ski!
It’s winter, it’s winter,
It’s great fun for me!

TASK 2

Your homework was to make Christmas cards. Show us your Christmas cards, please.
