My home is the Kireevsk . Since ancient times Nature has served Man, being the source of his life. For thousands of years people lived in harmony with environment and it seemed to them that natural riches were unlimited. But with the development of civilization man's interference in nature began to increase . Large cities with thousands of smoky industrial enterprises appear all over the world today. The by-products of their activity pollute the air we breathe, the water we drink, the land we grow grain and vegetables on . In my town , too, there are environmental problems that we will now tell you about it .

Eco-problems in my town . Air pollution . Air pollution is a very serious problem, because polluted air can cause illness and even death. Every year world industry pollutes the atmosphere with about 1500 million tons of dust and other harmful substances. Many cities suffer from smog, the oxygen balance upsets. Cars are polluting the air by exhaust gases and other dangerous chemicals.

Eco-problems in my town . A lot of litter in my town . I think that in my city the main problem is garbage on the streets. People do not think about what harm they inflict on themselves and others. They throw cigarette butts around the ground, throw out the chewing gums that birds pick up, and then die. Garbage floods our city, our country and our world. I think that students and young people should clean streets every Saturday, then our streets and yards will become cleaner.

Eco-problems in my town . Homeless animals . 14.11.2018 On the way home from school I often meet dogs and cats in the park, in the courtyards of apartrnent buildings and right in the streets. Just one look at these animals is enough to understand that they are hungry and do not have any owners or comfortable housing. Of course, I try to lay up a sandwich for them or something else to eat, but unfortunately, my sandwich does not solve the numerous problems associated with stray animals . During cold seasons stray dogs and cats look especially pathetic. Shivering with cold and getting wet in the rain, our smaller brothers suffer in silence. They can not ask for help, provide themselves with food or talk about what they have hurt. Animals die silently as well, freezing at the entrances of the houses, dying of hunger in the backstreets or falling under the cars’ wheels .

14.11.2018 In my opinion, the presence of stray dogs and cats in the streets is an evidence of big problems existing in human society. The first phrase that comes to mind in this context is The Little Prince’s statement: "We are responsible for those whom we have tamed." Having tamed the first wild dog, man took the responsibility for his fate. Unfortunately, few people care about each other, not to mention the stray animals. Probably, this is impunity that leads to such a blatant irresponsibility. I can not put into words all the feelings that I experience when I learn about the owners who emit animals in the street or "forget" them in their country houses and in the locked apartments when they leave on their vacation. Condemning a helpless creature to a long and painful death is no less terrible crime than murdering a human being, and needs to be punished on all severity.

Conclusion . I have already told you about three eco-problems but I consider that the major source is not a plant, a heat station or cars. First of all, the state of the environment depends upon people. We know that our streets and yards are polluted with great amount of garbage. A lot of teenagers and adults are used to setting scrapes of paper, cigarette ends and another small-sized garbage down and don’t think that these things decay, pollute the ground, smell and look very unlikely. And, watching these teenagers and adults, small children do the same. I urge everyone not to leave garbage on the ground, as, to my mind, it is the first step to clear our streets and to love our nature. We must do our best to save the beauty and the cleanness of our nature for future generations and for ourselves.
