Learning foreign languages

Electronic assistant: What foreign languages can you learn at your school?

Student: I can learn only English.

Electronic assistant: How many English lessons a week do you have?

Student: I have three English lessons a week.

Electronic assistant: For what reasons do people learn foreign languages nowadays?

Student: It seems to me that they learn them to have more career opportunities.

Electronic assistant: What is the most effective way to learn a foreign language, in your opinion?

Student: In my opinion, the most effective way to learn a foreign language is to study with a tutor[ˈtju:tə] репетитор .

Electronic assistant: Do you think English will be useful for you in the future? In what way?

Student: I think that English will be useful because I will have a chance to watch English programs and work in English speaking firms.

Electronic assistant: What language would you recommend your English speaking friend learn? Why?

Student: I would recommend to learn Russian because he would get an opportunity to move to Russia.

Electronic assistant: What time do you usually go to bed in the evening?

Student: I usually go to bed at eleven o’clock.

Electronic assistant: How much time do you spend doing your homework?

Student: I spend three or 4 hours a day doing my homework.

Electronic assistant: What sports do you do regularly?

Student: I play to the swimming pool regularly with my friends.

Electronic assistant: What do you do to help your parents about the house?

Student: I do the washing up and dust the furniture.

Electronic assistant: How do you spend your weekends?

Student: I go to the cinema with my friends at weekends.

Electronic assistant: What would you like to change in your daily routine?

Student: I would like to spend more time with my family.

Student: I’m in the ninth grade.

Electronic assistant: How many classes a day do you usually have?

Student: I usually have six or 7 classes a day.

Electronic assistant: What sports facilities are there in your school?

Student: we have different sports facilities:  two gyms, a swimming pool and a football pitch.

Electronic assistant: What is your school uniform like?

Student: We have football and volleyball competitions during the school year.

Electronic assistant: What would you like to improve in your school?

Student: It seems to me that most of the classrooms should be repaired.

Electronic assistant: How old are you?

Student: I am sixteen years old.

Electronic assistant: When did you get your first mobile phone?

Student: Parents bought me first mobile phone when I was in the second grade.

Electronic assistant: What do you usually use your mobile phone for?

Student: I usually play mobile games and chat with friends using my mobile phone.

Electronic assistant: How do you feel when you forget your mobile phone at home?

Student: I get bored very quickly when I forget my mobile phone at home.

Electronic assistant: Do you think it's right that mobile phones are not allowed at some schools?

Student: I think it’s right because it helps students to concentrate on learning.

Electronic assistant: In what places would you recommend switch off or turn down their phones? Why?

Student: I would recommend switching off electrical devices including mobile phones in theaters because they distract other visitors from watching.
