Урок английского языка

   В 5 классе по циклу 62 “I don’t often play computer games”

учебника ENGLISH 5 класс В.П.Кузовлев, Н.М. Лапа.

Тема урока: «Свободное время и хобби»

Цели и задачи:

Развивающий аспект - развитие умений и навыков учащихся осуществлять репродуктивные и продуктивные речевые действия; развитие музыкального слуха и логики речи учащихся;

развитие способностей учащихся к сравнению, сопоставлению, планированию своего высказывания, способности выражать свое собственное мнение; развитие актерских способностей и навыков выразительного чтения;

Воспитательный аспект -  формирование ответственности, инициативности учащихся в совместном творчестве, умения общаться и любви к музыке;

Учебный аспект - развивать и совершенствовать лексические и грамматические навыки учащихся в употреблении структур в настоящем простом времени; практиковать монологическую  речь учащихся.

    Речевой материал:

 фразы- клише: enjoy doing,  be fond of , лексический и грамматический материал цикла, песни, стихи и рифмовки.

    Оборудование:

 проектные работы учащихся, дидактический материал, мультимедийное оборудование, магнитофон, кассеты, плакаты, спортивный и театральный инвентарь. 

                     Этапы урока

1. Организационный момент.
2. Вступительное слово учителя.
3. Тренировка в исполнении песни приветствия.
4. Речевая зарядка.
5. Тренировка учащихся в употреблении лексических единиц и структур по теме.
6. Активизация использования модального глагола « can». Исполнение песни «Умеешь ли ты плавать как рыбка?»
7. Обучение монологической речи. Презентация проектов «Мое хобби» и «Что я люблю делать в свободное время»

Pupil 1:“ Hobbies differ like tastes. If you have chosen a hobby according to your taste, your life becomes more interesting. Hobbies are divided into four groups: doing things, making things, collecting things and learning things./ There is  slide 2 on the screen./

                      Pupil: The most popular of all hobbies is doing things. Gardening, reading, travelling, cooking, playing chess, football and volleyball. Gardening is interesting. Mum is fond of flowers. Dad is fond of driving our car. He is the best driver. What is your hobby?”

             The students tell their classmates what activities they enjoy in their free time.

e.g. Pupil 2:” My name is ...I have many hobbies.I enjoy doing sport, playing chess, computer games.My favourite sports are sambo and judo. I can fight. I take part in sports competitions. Last month I took the second place in sambo. In my spare time I listen to music. I like pop music. I can’t play any musical instruments,but I’d like to play the piano. It’s very nice.” / My pupil is playing the piano./

TALK TIME. Mrs Grundy and her grandson John.

          Mrs. Grundy:          Today is Friday.What a nice day today! I have much work to do.I’ll be busy from morning till night. I am never bored.

          John: Today is Friday. What a nasty day today! School again. Homework.Homework...

                    I don’t want to go to school. I am bored. I don’t know what to do after school and in the evening.

Reporter: Let’s tell John about our hobbies maybe he will choose one according to his taste.

Pupil A: My name is ...My hobby is doing sport. I play football. Football is the best game. I am sure it is exciting. Karvaliu is the best football player. Football makes me strong. It helps me to be healthy.I have got many friends. We play football in the playground. Can you play any sports game? And you?

Pupil B, C: Our hobby is singing. I can play the piano. I can sing the song about Mrs Grundy. The tune is written by us.

Pupil D: My name is Helen. I am eleven. Hobby is an activity that we enjoy doing in our                          free time. I have got many hobbies but my best hobby is dancing. I have been dancing for six years. I go to the dancing club every week. My studio is called “ THE YOUTH”.

We have got many prizes. Our teacher’s name is Natalya Vladimirovna. She is very kind and nice. We dance different dances in beautiful costumes. We perform dances of different parts of the world. Best of all I like Brazil dance which is called sambo. My hobby helps me to be happy and nice.

          Dear children, will you dance for us?

The girls are dancing.

Pupil 3: My hobby is dancing. Dancing is nice and pleasant. It makes me happy. I am flexible and thin. I become stronger and nicer.  Can you dance very well?

               Join us! We’ll dance. These are my friends.

I take part in different singing competitions and have a lot of prizers.I show them to you. I study at music school.I can play the piano.This year I’ll finish music school.But it’s not enough for me.I want to be a pop singer.

Music for me is life.I sing everywhere: in my bathroom, in streets,at school and, of course, when I walk with my friends.They enjoy my singing and they ask me to sing once again.

Pupil 5.e.g. Music plays a great part in my life. I play the piano...All of us enjoy singing.
