Форма: игровая

Формы контроля: фронтальная, групповая

Оборудование: компьютер, проектор, презентация, карточки с номерами.

Цель мероприятия: Повторение пройденного учебного материала

Задачи:

повышение интереса обучающихся к изучению английского языка

обобщить знания обучающихся в устной и письменной речи

расширить кругозор обучающихся

формирование уважения и интереса к культуре страны изучаемого языка

Ход игры:

Teacher:

Hello, boys and girls. I am glad to see you. I hope you are well.

Today we are going to play a game "The Star Hour".  Now the participants will introduce themselves. Please, you are welcome.

The rules of the game are following: I will give you different tasks. You should raise the cards with the right answer. For right answers you will get stars. That who will get more stars will be the winner. After every tour one player will leave the game.

Let's start.

Pets

a) Where is the hamster?

b) Find me, please, the child of the dog.

c) This pet can talk.

Hobbies

a) This man likes travelling.

b) This man likes to draw.

c) This man works in the circus.

Cities and Towns.

a) The Bolshoi Theatre is situated in …..

b) The Tower Bridge is situated in this city.

c) This city is on the Neva River.

Time.

You should guess what time it is on the screen.

a) It is 5 minutes to 4.

b) It is half past two.

c) It is a quarter past 5.

The questions for others pupils:

1. What are the colours of the British flag?
2. What are the colours of the Russian flag?
3. What is the capital of Russia?  
4. What is the capital of Spain?

Markets.

There are 65 streets markets in London. Here are 6 of them. The first question:

a)  This market is the fish market. You can buy only fish here.

b)  If you like old coins, medals, postcards, you can visit this market.

c) This market  is for music lovers.

Interesting.

a) The deepest lake in the world.

b) What is the largest country in the world?

c) What is the capital of Finland?

Tenses.

I will read the sentences and you should guess what tense it is.

a) She plays tennis every day.

b) I was watching TV yesterday at 5 o`clock.

c) He didn`t go to school yesterday.

The Final. The super game.

You see the word «ENGLISHSPEAKING». You should compose as many words as you can for 2 minutes. If you don`t know words you can give the stars instead of them. Are you ready? Let`s start!
