A good Introduction should have : 1 or 2 general statements related to the topic ; A short introduction to both sides of a problem expressed with different from the task Words ! Note! If the 2 nd part of a problem/argument is not given – create it by yourself! E.g. - Virtual Internet communication results in losing real-life social skills . We cannot imagine our life without the Web, without Vkontakte or Facebook. These things have become absolutely necessary for us; however , there is a strong belief that our generation may not develop abilities to communicate in real life. 1. Public libraries are becoming less popular and they will soon disappear. It is (generally) believed that reading habits of modern people have become rather poor. So, there is an opinion that typical libraries may vanish in the near future. However, some people strongly object to this view. 2. Some people think that to get a good education one should go abroad. It is beyond doubts that being well-educated has always been of vast importance. Nowadays there is an opinion that you need to go to foreign universities for this purpose. However, not everyone supports such views and I am among them. 3. Some people think that young people should follow in their parents' footsteps when choosing a profession. It is beyond doubts that our parents have an immense influence on our lives. So, there is a common view that we should copy them in everything, including our future jobs. However, not everyone supports such ideas and I agree with the second group/opinion. Examples:
