Dear ladies and gentlemen! We are happy to see you today at this special concert, which is dedicated to the ending of the Week of English at our school.

English is an international language and the necessity of learning English is quite obvious. Modern schools have a tendency to begin teaching English to kids at a very young age, so we are going to start with the smallest participants of our show.

Please, join me in welcoming the students of the first grade with their song "Nanny's pets"

Thank you for such a great performance. As you might already notice the weather hasn't been very nice to us for the last few weeks. The students of the fourth grade decided to sing us a song which can stop the endless rain and drive away the clouds. "Rain, rain, go awav". We all know that English is very hard to learn: there are many rules and the grammar is also pretty difficult to understand if you're not a native-English speaker. Kosov Grigory, the student of the fifth grade found some reasons Why English is hard to learn. Here they come.

English is very important in the modern world. But did you know that there are two types of English language: British and American. The USA is an international country, so that's why people call it "The Melting Pot". Please, welcome the students of the fifth grade. They will sing you a song called "This land is your land"

Haven't you ever caught yourself thinking about something philosophical? For example, what's the meaning of life? How to become a real hero or what does it take to be a Man? The tenth grade students will read you an incredible poem by Rudyard Kipling "If" which can definitely answer all of your questions.

The Beatles are an enormous part of British culture. Their songs are still played on radio stations and their lyrics live in our hearts. Please, welcome the students of the tenth grade with the songs by The Beatles "Help" and "Girl".

Dreams are meant to make us happy. However, they are not always meant to be realistic. Your imagination should be free to create its own versions of reality where you are able to do anything you want. Maybe even fly. "I believe I can fly" by the ninth grade students.
