Zebra belong to horse family. There are 3 species of African zebras, united by their black and white stripes. HORSE DONKEY ZEBRA
The stripes come in different patterns and are individual, like fingerprints by people. In fact zebras are black with white stripes and not on the contrary. fingerprints patterns
The stripes are vertical on the head and neck and horizontal on main body and legs. vertical horizontal
Zebras are slower than horses, but their great stamina helps them outrun predators. Zebras can zig - zag , to make it more difficult for the predator to attack. predator
Zebras have excellent eyesight they can see in c olour and they have night vision. Zebra have excellent hearing and have larger, rounder ears than horses. They can turn their ears in any direction.
Zebras eat grass, shrubs, herbs, twigs so they are herbivores. grass shrubs twigs herbs
Zebras are social: they live in groups “harems” . Zebra have never been truly domesticated.
